We build a decision platform that industrial companies use to plan their production. What our customer projects need right now:\nEach project starts with an open decision problem and incomplete ERP and Excel data. The customer needs to know early which result the available data supports.\nWe run several customer projects in parallel, without a standard process for kickoff, scoping, data and first result.\nRequirements that come up in several projects need to go back into the product.\nThis role owns delivery from kickoff to the first usable result, including the process. You run customer meetings on your own, agree on scope and expectations, and hand the technical work to our engineers and modellers. You understand their work well enough to review it before it goes to the customer. That needs a technical background; building it yourself does not.\nHow you will be measured: time from kickoff to the first usable result, and how much of each project follows a repeatable process.\nWe came out of RWTH research, raised €2.8M with Vorwerk Ventures, and have customers using our models today. Small team, Cologne office.\nRequirements\nTechnical background: engineering, computer science, data engineering, logistics and supply chain, or finance with operations research.\n5+ years leading complex projects from scoping to delivery, in industry or technical consulting.\nProject management across several parallel projects, multiple stakeholders and fixed deadlines.\nDelegating technical work: briefing engineers and reviewing results.\nYou have built or improved a delivery process.\nA track record of setting something up from scratch.\nTranslating business questions into requirements for a model: objective, levers, data.\nPractical work with incomplete or inconsistent ERP and Excel data.\nGerman at C1 level or above, and fluent English. Customer conversations are in German.\nExisting work visa for Germany.\nBonus: hands-on experience building data pipelines or optimization models.\nBenefits\nOwnership. Delivery from kickoff to the first usable result.\nBuilding it. The delivery process and the team behind it.\nProduct input. Requirements that recur across projects go into the product.\nCustomer projects. Live projects at manufacturing companies, on their production data.\nDirect collaboration. Small team, no org chart. We work directly together. Weekly feedback, both ways.\nCompensation. Competitive salary plus a VSOP package reflecting your contribution and development in the role.\nHybrid work. Our HQ is in Cologne, and we meet there regularly. Customer meetings take you across the DACH region.\nYour setup and everyday extras. Hardware of your choice · AI tooling budget · sports membership · Deutschland-Ticket.\nProcess: An intro call, a second conversation with the team, a 60- to 90-minute live case with pre-read material, then conversations with the team online and in person.\n\"Hustle the day, analyse at night, reinforce something outstanding.\" Period.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2998,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"German","level":"Advanced (C1)","optional":false},{"language":"English","level":"Advanced (C1)","optional":false}]},"benefits":["Hybrid work"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Germany","iso":"DE","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["ESG & Carbon Accounting Software","Manufacturing & Industrial Software"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-19T09:48:38Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":76,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.842,"p_room":0.9,"age_days":12,"expected_fill_days":28,"reasons":["conf:6","win:mid"],"computed_at":"2026-11-01T06:10:25Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/circonomit-delivery-lead","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/circonomit-delivery-lead.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-02T00:08:58Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":262,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-03T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":674735},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=674735"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fcirconomit-delivery-lead"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fcirconomit-delivery-lead"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fcirconomit-delivery-lead"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/circonomit-delivery-lead\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fcirconomit-delivery-lead"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":2842938}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"circonomit.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":2842938},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
