We need people who don’t just love people, but also love the hardware and software that makes the future move.\nAbout the Role\nCircuit is looking for Autonomous Vehicle Operators to join our autonomous shuttle service in downtown Boca Raton. The service is part of the City of Boca Raton’s transit program and is operated in partnership with Guident.\nAs an operator, you’ll make sure every ride is safe and smooth while giving passengers a great experience. You’ll keep an eye on the vehicle and the road, step in when needed, and help riders feel comfortable with this new technology.\nAutonomous vehicles are moving from testing to everyday service, and the industry is expected to grow quickly over the next several years. This role is your entry point, with hands-on experience that opens doors across the field.\nWhat You’ll Do\nPassenger Experience\nWelcome riders and create a friendly, comfortable experience on board\nAnswer questions and explain how the vehicle works in simple terms\nRepresent Circuit, Guident and the City of Boca Raton professionally with the public\nSafety and Monitoring\nMonitor the road, traffic and the vehicle’s performance throughout your shift\nRespond to alerts and take manual control of the vehicle when needed\nFollow safety procedures and stay in contact with Guident’s remote operations team\nDaily Operations\nComplete startup checks before service and a checklist at the end of each shift\nReport any issues so the team can keep improving the service\nMake sure the vehicle is charged, clean and ready for the next shift\nRequirements\nWhat We’re Looking For\nValid driver’s license with 3+ years of driving experience and a clean driving record\nAbility to pass a background check and motor vehicle record check\nAuthorized to work in the United States\nDependable and accountable, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions without direct supervision\nCalm under pressure, with the judgment to put safety first when conditions change\nComfortable using tablets and following checklists\nFriendly, professional and comfortable working with the public\nInterest in new technology and the future of transportation\nAble to lift up to 50 lbs \nPreferred: prior work experience in technology, customer service, hospitality, transportation or a similar role \nPreferred: experience with video games, drones or simulators\nSchedule\nPart-time\nFlexible 4-hour shifts between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM, including evenings and weekends\nHow We Hire\nApply online.
