We provide an inclusive culture, hybrid and flexible working and career development to bring the best out in our people.\nOriginally known as Container Exchange Services, we have rebranded to Circular Economy Systems to recognise our vision to be leaders in the transition to a circular economy.\nAbout the role\nWe are seeking an organised, outcomes-focused Project Manager to lead the delivery of software product initiatives across CES. Working across product and engineering teams, you will translate product priorities into clear delivery plans, coordinate cross-functional delivery and keep initiatives aligned to customer needs, business outcomes, scope, time and quality expectations.\nThis is an opportunity to shape how products and enhancements are delivered in a fast-paced, purpose-led organisation, while building the structure, visibility and collaboration needed to move complex work forward.\nKey Responsibilities\nSoftware Delivery\nLead end-to-end delivery of software initiatives, enhancements and releases from planning through implementation and transition to ongoing support.\n\nPartner with product managers and business stakeholders to clarify objectives, scope, outcomes, milestones and delivery priorities.\n\nDevelop and maintain integrated delivery plans across product, design, engineering, data, operations and external partners.\n\nCoordinate dependencies, actions and deliverables across multiple teams and concurrent workstreams.\n\nSupport release planning, testing, deployment, go-live readiness and post-launch review activities.\n\nGovernance, Risk & Reporting\nMaintain fit-for-purpose governance artefacts including delivery plans, RAID logs, decision and action registers, status reports and budget tracking where required.\n\nMonitor progress, delivery health, risks, issues and dependencies, and escalate early with clear options and recommendations.\n\nPrepare concise updates and dashboards for project forums, senior stakeholders and governance groups.\n\nEnsure project documentation is current, accessible and supports effective decision-making.\n\nStakeholder & Partner Management\nBuild trusted relationships across product, technology, operations, customer-facing teams and leadership.\n\nFacilitate workshops, planning sessions, stand-ups and project forums that drive decisions, ownership and momentum.\n\nCoordinate third-party vendors and delivery partners, tracking commitments and resolving delivery gaps.\n\nSupport change, communication, training and business-readiness activities to enable successful adoption.\n\nAbout you:\n3-5 years experience delivering software products, technology projects or customer-facing platforms in a project management or delivery role.\n\nDemonstrated experience managing cross-functional delivery involving product, design, engineering and business stakeholders.\n\nStrong planning and coordination capability, with hands-on experience managing scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, issues and stakeholder communications.\n\nComfortable working across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches and adapting governance to the needs of the initiative.\n\nClear, confident communicator who can turn complexity into practical actions and concise updates.\n\nStrong ownership, judgement and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment.\n\nExperience supporting release, testing, change or operational-readiness activities for digital products.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience in SaaS, digital platforms, payments, customer portals, mobile applications or high-volume transactional products.\n\nExperience working with external vendors, systems integrators or distributed delivery teams.\n\nExposure to Azure DevOps, Jira or similar delivery management tools.\n\nA recognised project management or Agile certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, Scrum Master or equivalent.\n\nOur Values\nScheme success is our success: Our mission is to accelerate recycling rates.
