You will work closely with infrastructure, Kubernetes, and distributed networks to break things in staging so they never break in production.\nWhat You’ll Work On\nKubernetes-based distributed systems and multi-cluster environments\n\nNetwork-heavy distributed systems and service-to-service communication\n\nL2/L3 networking and cloud networking scenarios\n\nLoad balancers, VPCs, routing, DNS and connectivity\n\nNetwork failures, latency, packet loss and service degradation\n\nObservability and alerting pipelines\n\nReliability validation and failure-injection testing\n\nAPI, integration, system and end-to-end automation\n\nInfrastructure and deployment automation\n\nCI/CD pipelines and reliability gates\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and build scalable automation frameworks for network, API, integration and system-level validation\n\nBuild automated tests for service-to-service communication and distributed workflows\n\nValidate system behavior under network failures, latency, packet loss, connectivity issues and partial failures\n\nDevelop failure-injection and reliability tests for distributed systems\n\nValidate Kubernetes networking and multi-cluster behavior\n\nIntegrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines\n\nAnalyze failures across logs, metrics, traces and network signals\n\nPartner with SRE, Platform and Backend teams to make systems more testable and observable\n\nPerform deep-dive root cause analysis on system and network failures\n\nBuild reusable testing utilities and infrastructure\n\nHelp establish reliability and quality standards across the platform\n\nTechnical Expectations\nDeep Expertise In\nNetworking fundamentals and distributed systems\n\nTCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS and service communication\n\nKubernetes networking\n\nNetwork failure modes and troubleshooting\n\nDistributed-system failure scenarios\n\nObservability and production debugging\n\nStrong Hands-on Experience With\nKubernetes / multi-cluster environments\n\nAWS, Azure or GCP networking\n\nVPCs, load balancers, routing and IAM\n\nNetwork troubleshooting and debugging\n\nAPI and integration testing\n\nChaos / failure-injection testing\n\nCI/CD automation\n\nProgramming\nStrong coding skills in Python and Go (mandatory)\n\nExperience building automation frameworks and system-level tooling\n\nProficiency in Shell scripting and infrastructure automation\n\nWhat Makes This Role Different\nYou won't just test whether an API returns the expected response.
