The Delivery Operations Intern’s primary responsibility will be supporting the Delivery Operations Team with their day-to-day responsibilities. As a very customer-facing member of the Cirrus team, this person will be expected to interact with Cirrus customers and assist as necessary. Some of the core responsibilities include; aircraft delivery event record keeping, scheduling, delivery setup, aircraft presentation, assisting with customer database transfer, and conducting delivery flights.\nAncillary duties include last-minute aircraft detailing, safety management, line service activities, flight planning and preparation, complex problem solving, mastery of subject matter material, and recommending processes improvements.\nAdditional duties include acting as pilot in command of Cirrus aircraft while performing 14 CFR part 91 corporate flight operations (demonstration, repositioning, and post-maintenance flights) when needed, and other similar pilot duties.\nResponsibilities\nAdhere to all industry and Cirrus established safety procedures and policies when performing job duties\n\nProvide excellent and professional customer service\n\nParticipate as a member of a team of professional and dedicated employees.\n\nProvide support through administrative processes within the Delivery Operations department.\n\nDevelop skills vitally important in today’s fast-paced work environment including analytical skills, team-based interaction, goal setting and strategic planning, the ability to work under pressure, listening and organizational skills, among others.\n\nMake timely and accurate decisions regarding safety of flight.\n\nMeticulously record all training event activities and results in pilot training records.\n\nAct as pilot in command of Cirrus aircraft while performing corporate flight missions, ferry flights, internal training flights, and demonstration flights.\n\nPerform normal pre-flight and post flight inspections as well as clean, fuel, add oil and de-ice fluid, update chart subscriptions, etc.\n\nManage travel expenses in accordance with Cirrus company policies.\n\nContinuous learning of the latest developments in the Cirrus Aircraft line of aircraft products.\n\nProvide feedback for program improvements.\n\nIdentify needs to escalate concerns as appropriate.\n\nDevelop effective methods of safety communication, recordkeeping, ramp operations, and fleet management for flying club functions.\n\nAll other duties as assigned.\n\nAdditional Requirements: Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check.Must be able to complete entire duration of internship.Qualifications\nRequired:\nCurrent student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or Cirrus Fleet School.\nCurrent and active FAA Commercial Pilot with Instrument Rating \nCurrent 1st or 2nd Class FAA Medical required \n500 hours total time or 100 hours in Cirrus required \nIFR in congested airspace, mountain flying, extensive IMC, international flight, and night experience preferred \nHold current and active Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument Rating \nJunior or Senior in good academic standing.\nProficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\nOther Duties Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this position.
