Gains hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing, process improvement, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration while building a foundational understanding of Cirrus products, systems, and operations.\nResponsibilities\nPartner with an experienced Manufacturing Engineer mentor to learn manufacturing engineering principles, processes, and best practices.\nSupport production technicians and operators by assisting with day-to-day manufacturing issues and process-related concerns.\nLead or significantly contribute to one or two defined project assignments focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, or process improvement.\nCollect, organize, and analyze manufacturing data to support problem solving and continuous improvement activities.\nAssist with root cause investigations and corrective action implementation.\nSupport the development and revision of work instructions, manufacturing documentation, and standard operating procedures.\nParticipate in manufacturing process observations, validation activities, and improvement initiatives.\nCollaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering team members to understand how manufacturing functions support the business.\nLearn and apply engineering tools, systems, and manufacturing technologies used within Cirrus.\nPresent project results and recommendations to engineering and operations leadership at the conclusion of the internship. \nAdditional Requirements: Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check.Must be able to complete entire duration of internship.Qualifications\nRequired:\nCurrent student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.\nJunior or Senior in good academic standing.\nProficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\nOther Duties Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this position.
