You will become a major contributor in our Mixed-Signal CAD team supporting EDA/CAD tools for integrated circuit design flows.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide tool and methodology support for design and layout teams.\nAutomation and improvement of design engineering flows.\nDeliver reports to design groups and to customers.\nDevelop and automate new, existing and sophisticated design methodologies and liaise closely with external tool vendors to drive improvements.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\nBachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related subject area and/or a validated background in integrated circuit design, CAD/EDA development/support, or software development with a focus on integrated circuit design.\nDeep understanding of analogue or mixed-signal design methodologies.\nExperience with revision control systems such as Perforce or SVN.\nExpertise in analogue simulation, parasitic extraction, Cadence OA.\nExperience scripting preferably including Python and SKILL.\nDemonstrated debug and problem-solving skills.\nDeep understanding of Linux / UNIX.\nPartner and collaborate with the team using strong interpersonal skills while supporting internal customers.\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications:\nExpert-level knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso Environment, including Spectre/SpectreX simulation environment (Maestro/ADE).\nExperience with Cadence Virtuoso layout editor driving the tool and debugging associated issues.\nExperience with digital simulators (Xcelium).\nExperience setting up Cadence Virtuoso startup scripts, .cdsinit & .cdsenv settings.\nLVS debug & Parasitic Extraction with Calibre or QRC/Quantus.\nAnalogue Simulation ‘SOA’ or Safe Operating Area assert generation and verification.\nExperience of PDK setup including DRC/ERC review and sign-off.\nExperience with circuit ERC (PERC or
