You will work closely with customer engineering teams, Cirrus field engineers, and internal partners across DSP, firmware, system test, user-space tools, hardware applications, program management, and predictability, and business alignment.\nResponsibilities\nTeam Leadership & Execution\nEnsure on-time execution with high outgoing quality across customer programs and internal deliverables\nPartner with marketing and program management to continuously align team priorities, staffing, and resource assignments to business objectives\nManage capacity planning, recruiting, onboarding, and talent development\nBuild skill redundancy and succession plans to support long-term team resilience\nManage execution hot spots, risks, and priority conflicts across programs\nQuality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement\nEnsure team practices align with open-source software, security, quality, and AI standards and policies\nIncrease internal visibility into team activities, load, delivery broader team coverage and future scope expansion\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field\n15+ years of experience in embedded, systems-level, or low-level software development\n5+ years of technical people-management experience\nExperience leading software teams responsible for customer-facing embedded software deliveries\nStrong understanding of embedded driver development, hardware/software integration, and platform bring-up\nExperience with bare-metal, RTOS, Linux, Android, Zephyr, or similar embedded software environments\nDemonstrated ability to manage priorities, capacity, execution risks, and resource assignments across multiple programs\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to align engineering teams, program managers, marketing, field teams, and customer-facing stakeholders\nExperience driving quality, planning discipline, and continuous improvement across software teams\nAbility to develop talent, build skill redundancy, and support succession planning\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications\nExperience with audio, haptics, DSP-based systems, codecs, amplifiers, or related mixed-signal products\nExperience supporting smartphone, wearable, gaming, automotive, PC, or consumer electronics platforms\nFamiliarity with open-source software compliance, security practices, and software quality systems\nExperience developing dashboards, release checklists, planning views, or other mechanisms for improving execution visibility\nExperience with automated unit,
