You will play a critical role in supporting new product introductions and post-silicon validation. You will have the opportunity to, and be responsible for, leading, mentoring, and providing technical guidance to other engineering team members. In this role, you can leverage your experience and industry knowledge to architect, and drive implementation of continuous improvements to test infrastructure and processes.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBench test, debug, and characterization of embedded on-chip circuitry (amplifiers, data converters, power converters, etc.) to ensure functionality and performance as per the datasheet.\nDesign, develop, and debug silicon validation and characterization board-level hardware and bring-up the platforms prior to first silicon.\nDevelop automated test framework and regression test suites in Python to optimize validation efficiency.\nArchitect and drive implementation of software framework methodologies based primarily in Python.\nWork with Validation and Production Test engineering peers to implement best practices and continuous improvements to Cirrus Logic backend test methodologies.\nCollaborate closely with Design Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Application Engineers to understand requirements and use cases.\nAnalyze test results and identify failures/defects using business intelligence tools such as Spotfire, Excel and JMP.\nSupport and develop automation software for test equipment including NI STS / PXIe platforms and bench-top instruments.\nWrite technical reports/summaries of all data collected.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\nBSc, MSc or MEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with proven experience in an IC Validation or Test Engineering role.\nAdvanced electrical engineering knowledge in analog, digital, power electronics or audio engineering.
