The successful candidate will drive process improvements, lead a dedicated team, and contribute significantly to the company's financial health and operational efficiency.\nJoin us!\nYour Impact\nLeadership & Team Management:Lead, mentor, and develop the Collections, Accounts Payable, and Billing teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.\nSet clear objectives, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members.\nOversee daily operations across all three functions, ensuring adherence to established procedures and service level agreements.\n\n Billing Management:Manage and supervise all billing activities, ensuring the accurate, complete, and timely generation of invoices to customers.\nDevelop and implement billing policies and procedures in line with company strategy and contractual agreements.\nEnsure compliance with Brazilian tax regulations related to invoicing (e.g., Nota Fiscal Eletrônica, ISS, ICMS).\nCoordinate closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams to ensure correct billing parameters and resolve any discrepancies.\n\n Collections Management:Develop, implement, and monitor effective collections strategies and policies tailored for diverse customer segments and portfolios.\nEstablish collections targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), tracking team and portfolio performance.\nAnalyze aging reports, delinquency rates, and bad debt provisions, identifying trends and proposing corrective actions.\nNegotiate with delinquent customers, seeking solutions that preserve customer relationships while maximizing recovery.\nEnsure compliance with Brazilian collections laws and consumer protection regulations (e.g., Código de Defesa do Consumidor).\n\n Accounts Payable Management:Manage and supervise all Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, payment execution, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.\nEnsure accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors, employees, and other financial obligations.\nGuarantee compliance with internal company policies and all relevant Brazilian tax and accounting regulations (e.g., withholding taxes like IRRF, ISS, PIS, COFINS, CSLL, and ancillary obligations).\nManage vendor relationships, resolve invoice disputes, and ensure payments are made within agreed-upon terms.\nCollaborate with Procurement, General Accounting, and Treasury departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment of processes.\n\nProcess Optimization & Compliance:Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement across Billing, AP, and Collections functions.\nDevelop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.\nActively participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.\nPrepare and present comprehensive management reports on Billing, AP, and Collections performance, cash flow, and financial metrics.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related field.\nPost-graduate degree or MBA in Finance, Business Management, or a related area is a plus.\n7+ years of proven leadership experience managing at least two of the three functions (Billing, Accounts Payable, Collections), with a strong understanding of all three, preferably within a medium to large-sized company in Brazil.\nIn-depth knowledge of Brazilian tax and accounting legislation (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS, IRRF, Nota Fiscal Eletrônica, etc.) and best practices for Billing, Accounts Payable, and Collections.\nProficiency with ERP systems (Oracle, Highradius) and financial automation tools.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nFluent in Portuguese (native level) and advanced English is required.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExceptional leadership and team management capabilities.\nStrong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with an ability to make data-driven decisions.\nExcellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.\nResults-oriented with a proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.\nHigh level of proactivity, organization, and attention to detail.\nStrong problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.\nHigh ethical standards and integrity.\nWhy Cisco?\nAt Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era - and beyond.
