We thrive on cross-functional collaboration, continuous learning, and delivering high-impact solutions that power Cisco's business.\nYour Impact\nDesign, develop, and implement cloud-based and data center network solutions, combining cutting-edge technologies to optimize architecture in line with Cisco's security standards and policies.\nCollaborate with product managers, engineers, and security teams to develop detailed specifications for new cloud-based products, services, and applications, focusing on network security optimization, scalability, and performance.\nPlan and implement infrastructure migration activities for cloud and data center relocation or consolidation projects, including assessing environments, creating migration strategies, and mitigating risks.\nDeploy, configure, and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., Kubernetes clusters, VMware, OpenStack), performing both live and cold infrastructure and services migrations and decommissioning with minimal service disruption.\nInvent solutions using open source and commercial technologies to ensure service availability and quality against speed-to-market needs for rapid delivery of new features and releases.\nDevelop and lead tools, frameworks, infrastructure, templates, etc. for configuring, building and deploying platform and cloud applications in an automated manner.\nMinimum Qualifications\nA Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Engineering, combined with 7 years of experience such as network engineering or data center operations, or a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, combined with 4 years of experience or PhD, combined with 1 year of related experience.\nExperience in deploying, administering, and operating virtualization platforms (VMware, OpenStack, Hyper-V).\nExperience in building, operating, tuning, and debugging Linux and Windows Server environments for high availability and performance.\nExperience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, GitOps); cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, DC, etc.) as well as container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).\nExperience with IPv4/IPv6, or similar; and experience with cloud network architecture and automation.\nExperience with scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell) for infrastructure automation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with monitoring, observability, and incident response in Public/Private cloud or hybrid environments.\nValidated drive for continuous learning, results-orientation, and teamwork.
