Your expertise in Anthos and Istio will be critical in maintaining the high-availability platform that powers Cisco's most advanced AI initiatives.\nYour Impact\nDevelop and maintain Terraform scripts to provision and manage scalable GCP and On-premise Kubernetes resources and Docker containers.\n\nConfigure and optimize Anthos Service Mesh (ASM) and Istio for service-to-service communication, security, and observability.\n\nImplement and audit IAM roles and GCP Quotas, ensuring the environment is \"Secure by Design\" with robust encryption and secrets updates.\n\nBuild and leverage observability dashboards using Elasticsearch and Kibana to monitor system health and provide proactive alerts on performance and cost.\n\nExecute capacity planning and scaling for new feature rollouts, ensuring the environment stays within defined cost envelopes and security standards.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.\n\n10+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud/On-prem Operations or DevOps.\n\nStrong proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.\n\nExtensive experience with IAM implementation, GCP Quota management, and Anthos Service Mesh (ASM)/Istio.\n\nProven experience with Apigee and the ELK stack.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Jenkins, Spinnaker, and GitHub for automated delivery.\n\nProven ability to manage hybrid traffic between cloud and on-premise platforms.\n\nStrong analytical skills for cost envelope management and capacity planning.\n\nAdvanced proficiency with cloud provider CLIs and automation scripting.\n\nWhy Cisco?\nAt Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era - and beyond.
