Our teams work across ASIC, hardware, software, labs, and infrastructure to build cutting-edge networking solutions.\nYour Impact\nDesign, build, and continuously improve scalable DevOps infrastructure and engineering workflows\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using technologies such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions\nDevelop and manage Infrastructure as Code and configuration management solutions using Puppet, Ansible, or similar technologies\nDeploy and orchestrate containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes\nDevelop and maintain on-prem Linux infrastructure and system images\nBuild and operate observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, ELK/OpenSearch, and related technologies\nDesign dashboards, alerts, and SLO/SLI frameworks that provide real-time visibility into infrastructure, pipelines, and lab environments\nDevelop data collection pipelines and exporters for metrics, logs, and traces across the organization\nDrive automation and tooling for anomaly detection and incident response, helping reduce MTTD and MTTR\nPartner closely with software, IT, and lab teams to understand their needs and build reliable, scalable solutions\nEstablish and promote security, reliability, and operational best practices across infrastructure and data platforms\nDrive technical improvements and continuously identify opportunities to increase engineering productivity\nCreate and maintain clear technical documentation, runbooks, and system design documentation\nMinimum Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering or a related role\nStrong Linux administration fundamentals with experience in on-prem data center or hybrid cloud environments.\nProficiency with Bash and Python for automation, tooling, and operational workflows.\nHands-on experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.\nHands-on experience with monitoring or observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or similar\nHands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or similar.\nExperience with configuration management, infrastructure as code, or GitOps workflows using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, ArgoCD, Flux, or similar.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience\nExperience with log aggregation platforms such as ELK, OpenSearch, Loki, Splunk, or similar\nExperience working with on-premises data centers or hybrid cloud environments\nExperience designing highly available and scalable infrastructure\nStrong understanding of observability, incident management, and production reliability practices\nExperience working in large-scale engineering, lab, or hardware/software development environments\nWhy Cisco?\nAt Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era - and beyond.
