Our team ensures that as Cisco grows, we do so safely.\nYour Impact\nAs the Eastern US EHS Program Manager, you will act as the bridge between the Global EHS team and regional partners, ensuring compliance across high-impact locations like Research Triangle Park (RTP) and the Eastern corridor. You will lead regional compliance efforts and implement standardized EHS procedures to mitigate operational risks in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role means improved AMER regional performance, working cross functionally to deliver timely and effective closure of compliance gaps, and measurable progress in reducing the likelihood of serious injury, illness, or non-compliance. You will use EHS data and systems to draw insights and accelerate data-driven decision-making using AI-augmented tools. This role is critical to maintaining Cisco’s reputation as a safe, inclusive, and compliant global technology leader.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or a related technical field.\n3-5 years of experience managing EHS programs within a large-scale corporate or industrial environment.\nDirect experience managing hazardous waste programs and occupational health and safety compliance.\nProven track record of navigating EHS regulatory requirements specifically within North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Georgia, or Texas.\nDemonstrated experience in a multi-stakeholder environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).\nISO 14001 or ISO 45001 management system auditor credentials.\nFamiliarity with AI tools, Agile, or Lean methodologies to streamline status reporting and project validation.\nStrong customer relationship management skills with the ability to influence positive safety outcomes across diverse business units.\nHighly organized and proactive management style with the ability to lead complex projects in a hybrid work model.\nWhy Cisco?\nAt Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era - and beyond. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.\nU.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco’s policies:\n10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees\n\n1 paid day off for employee’s birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco\n\nNon-exempt employees** receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees\n\nExempt employees participate in Cisco’s flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)\n\n80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next\n\nAdditional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members\n\nOptional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer\n\nFor non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco’s policies.\nEmployees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:\n.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;\n\n1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;\n\n1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and\n\nOnce performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.\n\nFor non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target.
