We thrive on cross-functional collaboration, continuous learning, and delivering high-impact solutions that power Cisco's business.\nYour Impact\nDesign, develop, and implement cloud-based and data center network solutions, combining cutting-edge technologies to optimize architecture in line with Cisco's security standards and policies.\nCollaborate with product managers, engineers, and security teams to develop detailed specifications for new cloud-based products, services, and applications, focusing on network security optimization, scalability, and performance.\nPlan and execute compute and storage migration activities for data center relocation or consolidation projects, including assessing environments, creating migration strategies, and mitigating risks.\nDeploy, configure, and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, OpenStack), performing both live and cold VM migrations and decommissioning with minimal service disruption.\nBuild and maintain enterprise storage systems (NAS/SAN), including volume/LUN creation, host mapping, multipathing, and data replication.\nMinimum Qualifications\nA completed degree in Computer Science, or Engineering, combined with 5 + years of experience such as network engineering or data center operations\nExperience in deploying, administering, and operating virtualization platforms (VMware, OpenStack, Hyper-V).\nExperience in building, operating, tuning, and troubleshooting Linux and Windows Server environments for high availability and performance.\nExperience in enterprise storage systems (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC) and advanced storage architectures (NAS, SAN), including volume/LUN management, host mapping, multipathing, data replication, and snapshots.\nExperience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, GitOps).\nExperience with IPv4/IPv6 networking and experience with cloud network architecture and automation.\nExperience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for infrastructure automation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in data center operations, including hardware installation, rack management, cabling, power management, and environmental monitoring.\nExperience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).\nExperience in automation and modern DevOps practices.\nExperience with Source Code Control Management and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Argo, Harness, etc.).\nExperience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).\nExperience in development of next gen agentic AI ops agents\nWhy Cisco?\nAt Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era - and beyond.
