A candidate that actively seeks opportunities for improvement, increase efficiency by digitizing, simplifying and automating our processes and tools.\n\nYour Impact\nThe Manufacturing Engineer is the primary technical interface to the Manufacturing Partner site and is accountable for driving both Operational Perfection (Delivery, Quality, and Cost) and Factory Excellence (capability, efficiency, security and sustainability). Position requires strong knowledge on PCBA manufacturing operations and SMT technology roadmap.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupports manufacturing engineering functions at the manufacturing sites including:\nDevelops and maintains manufacturing methods and operation sequences for parts, components, and assemblies.\nCollaborates with design engineering and production suppliers to coordinate manufacturing processes.\nAddresses moderately complex manufacturing challenges; recommends tooling and process improvements.\nDevelops and implements manufacturing processes; estimates manufacturing costs and time standards; maintains documentation.\nSupports team efforts; begins to influence manufacturing workflows and process improvements.\nCoordinates communication between design, production, and engineering teams; prepares reports and updates.\nManage daily support of our products and tools in manufacturing.\nSupport NPI launch and govern sustaining products within manufacturing partners.\nSupport product transfers between manufacturing sites.\nAnalyze various sets of data and programs for quality & process control.\nDrive process optimization, yield improvements and process consistency within manufacturing sites.\nProvides technical support for all systemic defects, line stops, material purges and quality issues.\nFactory site technical quality metrics ownership and driving metrics improvement relating to structural test.\nGovern ECO and deviation implementation during bom change or fab respin.\nEnforce & review SoP docs and SPC specs (Yield, Cpk, GR&R), during phase gate transitions and periodically for sustaining production.\nConduct audits of factory processes.\nProvide oversight during critical production stages.\nKeep close loop with ProdOps central team\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor´s degree or equivalent, 3-4 years of experience at an electronics manufacturing engineering / factory\nIndustry knowledge and understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and quality systems.\nWorking knowledge of statistical methods (SPC, AQL), as used in a Mfg. context.\nClarity in documenting issues.
