We're going to need your help to formulate a strategy because we value your opinion and need you to lean in here!\nPurpose:\nThe Product Supply Lead (PSL) role is a key part of the end-to-end supply chain within Cisco Global Manufacturing Operations (GMO), working closely with the Product Fulfillment Lead (PFL). The PSL collaborates with Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) partners, regional teams, business planning, product operations, and sales to balance supply and demand, protect customer lead times, and drive fulfillment outcomes.\nRole Vision:\nManage end-to-end supply chain activities with a focus on supply-side work such as lead-time analysis, Hotspots and Heatmap judgment, sourcing rules, and supply interlock.\nEnsure an effective materials pipeline through proper supply and demand balancing while achieving Non-Material Spend (NMS) targets including Excess & Obsolete (E&O) and mode shifts, as well as quarterly inventory commits in partnership with supply planners.\nProvide inputs to manage operations to meet customer lead time expectations and business strategy.\nLead problem-resolution activities to ensure timely deliveries and address customer fulfillment issues.\nContribute to key supply chain metrics including Lead Time As Scheduled (LAS), Lead Time Integrity (LTI), On-Time-to-Delivery (OTD), Aged Backlog, and Multiple Recommit (MRC).\nResponsible for KPI updates, product lead-time reporting (Heatmap / Hotspots), and analytics to drive optimal business outcomes.\nMeasures of Success:\nLead Time Attainment (LTA) goal: 90%\nLead Time As Scheduled (LAS) goal: 82%\nLead Time Integrity (LTI) goal: 90%\nAged Backlog goal: 1.5%\nMultiple Recommit (MRC) goal: 0.75%\nForums and Collaboration:\nParticipate in monthly PSL/PFL forums per region to discuss topics such as Network Design Framework, shortage management, Clear-to-Build Partner API, and role certification.\nTools Used:\nAgile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)\nBusiness Object New (GPBI)\nBT Shortage Waterfall (BTSWF)\nCisco Commerce Workspace (CCW)\nDemantra\nGlobal Sourcing Workbench\nIntegrated Fulfillment Workbench (IFW)\nKinaxis\nOracle (CG1)\nOrder Scheduling Result Tool (OSR)\nUniversal Fulfillment Orchestration (UFO)\nAnd others as defined in the Systems Glossary.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBA/BS or experience of a minimum of 10 years\nStrong analytical skills (Demand Planning, Sales & Operations Planning)\nDeep supply chain knowledge.\nExpert level with MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)\nEnglish language proficient\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures\nExcellent communication and business planning skills, while being self-motivated with a focus on execution.\nUnderstanding of Supply Planning processes & tools\nExperience with MRP/ERP systems, including material planning-specific software such as Kinaxis or Oracle.\nExperience in materials planning, and fulfillment skills\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaterial Shortage Gap Reduction - drives down the gap of material shortages by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and improve material availability for fulfillment.\nInventory- leads Inventory Commit process across Orgs. Provide updates in OPT on Inventory Turns, WOS, explains drivers/trends to drive action plan.\nLCA Optimization- runs LCA to determine if current supply chain is at optimum for- freight modes, network footprint, transformation costs.\nMaterials Buffers- provides analytical support to BPM in on mtls. buffer decisions, tracking and adjustments.\nFY/Quarter OPT Strategic Plans- provides analytical support to BPM in creating and tracking OPT/BU Strategic Plans.\nRisk Buy Analytics- provides analytic support for risk buy decisions (e.g. AP Hub).\nLT Heatmap/Hotspots- develops/maintains Heatmap- performs weekly reporting of Extended LT PIDs and recovery date\nDelivery Metric Divergence Root Cause- reduces gap between LAS/LTA performance through root cause analysis and corrective action.\nWhy Cisco?\nAt Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era - and beyond.
