We use AI-enabled tools and operational data to improve the security platforms, integrations, and workflows that support vulnerability management, incident detection, and response. This support role helps keep those services reliable, visible, effective, and continuously improving.\nYour impact\nSupport and maintain AI-enabled security platforms, cloud services, integrations, and automation workflows used by the Security Operations team. Monitor service health and security telemetry, troubleshoot operational issues, and improve the reliability and observability of security services. Develop scripts and automation that apply AI-assisted capabilities to reduce manual work and support vulnerability management and incident response. Partner with security, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve issues and improve operational processes.\nMinimum qualifications\nBachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience, or Master’s degree plus 3 years of related experience in security, systems, cloud, or infrastructure operations.\nExperience supporting vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident detection, incident response, or security platforms, including AI-enabled or automated capabilities.\nProficiency with scripting or automation tools, such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript.\nExperience supporting Linux systems and cloud environments, including troubleshooting and service operations.\nFamiliarity with observability practices and tools, including logs, metrics, dashboards, alerts, and operational runbooks.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience with AI-enabled security platforms such as Splunk, or similar security analytics and automation tools.\nExperience applying AI-assisted analysis, automation, or workflow capabilities to security operations.\nExperience with APIs, webhooks, JSON, YAML, authentication mechanisms, and system integrations.\nFamiliarity with Terraform, Ansible, Git, CI/CD pipelines, or configuration-management tools.\nRelevant certifications such as AWS, Azure, Splunk, CCNP Security, CISSP, or comparable technical training.\nWhy Cisco?\nAt Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era - and beyond.
