In this critical role, you will architect and build scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and lead the adoption of best-in-class DevOps practices across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless code delivery, system reliability, and operational excellence for our SaaS platforms.\nKey Responsibilities\nImplement end-to-end CI/CD workflows in a large-scale, distributed environment-enabling both on-demand and scheduled builds and deployments with zero downtime.\nScale microservice-based platforms across multiple geographic regions, with a focus on container orchestration (Kubernetes), cost optimization, and automated scaling solutions.\nLead cross-functional DevOps projects from inception to completion defining success criteria, coordinating execution, and measuring outcomes against clear KPIs.\nCollaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to streamline delivery pipelines and promote DevOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.\nAdvocate automation in every layer of the infrastructure stack using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools such as Terraform, Helm, and GitOps frameworks.\nContinuously evaluate and adopt emerging DevOps tools and technologies to increase system resilience, reduce operational overhead, and enhance developer productivity.\nIntegrate AI-assisted tooling, copilots, and AIOps into day-to-day DevOps, CI/CD workflows, infrastructure automation, testing, and incident response to enhance efficiency and system reliability.\nParticipate in on-call rotation.\nServe as a subject matter expert within the DevOps organization-promoting a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or related field) + 7 years of DevOps experience, Masters + 4 years of related experience, or PhD + 1 year of related experience.\n2+ years scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.\nExperience working in Kubernetes, Docker\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDeep expertise in CI/CD tooling and practices, including hands-on experience with systems like Jenkins, Github, ArgoCD, or similar.\nDemonstrated success scaling containerized microservices across regions with cost and performance optimizations.\nProven leadership in cross-functional engineering projects with measurable outcomes.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.\nWhy Cisco?\nAt Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era - and beyond. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:\n.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;\n\n1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;\n\n1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and\n\nOnce performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.\n\nFor non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target.
