We’re building a Knowledge Graph that helps Splunk users easily discover their data while understanding the relationships and lineage between different Splunk objects.\nYou will be joining a team that is building a new product with fast paced innovation, pioneering technology and is central to Cisco Data Fabric vision.\nYour Impact\nAs a Software Engineer on the team, you will:\nContribute to high level design for multiple features by working in conjunction with senior team members and technical leaders\n\nBuild reliable, scalable, and high-performance applications\n\nBe responsible for overall quality of the product by driving Developer Owned Quality approach within the team\n\nDebug and resolve customer-reported issues, delivering effective solutions.\n\nParticipate in on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and other operational activities to ensure service reliability\n\nLearn, explore, and integrate new technologies into the team’s workflow\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s + 5 years of related experience, or Master’s + 3 years of related experience\n\nProven experience building and delivering new services / features in a fast-paced product environment, using cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP, as well as container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes\n\nHands-on professional experience developing and debugging in an object-oriented language such as Go, C++ or Java\n\nExperience working in Agile environments with CI/CD and iterative development practices\n\nSolid foundation in data structures, algorithms, software design and modern distributed systems\n\nStrong focus on software quality, reliability and performance\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with graph databases such as Neo4j, AWS Neptune or Apache AGE, and/or building knowledge graphs for data objects or entities\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams\n\nComfortable working in an evolving environment and adapting to changing priorities\n\nCuriosity and a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges\n\nYou do not need to meet every preferred qualification.
