Architect, build, and optimize scalable applications and APIs, using AI-assisted development tools across the software development lifecycle. Engineer reliable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to improve the transition from development to production. Maintain system health and security through proactive monitoring, cross-platform troubleshooting, and participation in on-call rotations. Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership, collaborate across functions, and evaluate emerging technologies to strengthen the organization’s technology stack. Multiply your impact with agentic development life cycle.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with knowledge of networking and security concepts such as routing, firewalls, and gateways. \nAt least 8 years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.\nKnowledge of software development and system administration principles. \nExperience programming or scripting in Python, Java, Go, or a similar language.\nWorking knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. \nKnowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. \nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. \nExcellent communication and teamwork skills. \nAbility to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment. \nWhy Cisco?\nAt Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era - and beyond.
