You will gain hands-on experience with real networking environments, lab setups, and modern AI-assisted development tools.\nThis role is ideal for engineers who enjoy breaking systems, understanding how they work, and ensuring high-quality product delivery.\nIn This Role, You Will\nWrite and execute test plans and test cases for wireless features and systems\n\nDevelop and maintain automation scripts using Python or similar languages\n\nAnalyze test results and identify issues, inconsistencies, or performance gaps\n\nReproduce customer and system issues in controlled lab environments\n\nAssist in setting up and maintaining testbeds and lab environments (routers, switches, access points)\n\nCollaborate with development and platform teams to debug and resolve issues\n\nLearn and apply AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) to improve testing efficiency and automation\n\nMinimum Qualification\nHave a Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 1-3 years of experience\n\nHave strong programming fundamentals, preferably in Python (or similar scripting language)\n\nHave a basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing basics)\n\nHave strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills\n\nAre curious, detail-oriented, and enjoy troubleshooting system behavior\n\nAre interested in AI-enabled engineering practices and using AI tools to improve productivity\n\nPreferred Qualification\nExposure to networking devices (routers, switches, access points) through coursework, labs, or internships\n\nFamiliarity with setting up small network environments\n\nBasic understanding of wireless technologies (Wi-Fi / 802.11)\n\nCertifications such as CCNA (or working toward it)\n\nWhy Cisco?\nAt Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era - and beyond.
