You will work closely with account teams and cross-functional sales teams to understand customer business priorities, translate them into technical requirements, and design and present relevant Cisco solutions.\nYou will play a key role throughout the technical sales process-from identifying and landing opportunities to expanding Cisco’s footprint within existing accounts-while helping customers achieve their desired business outcomes.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop and refine technical sales approaches aligned to clearly defined customer and partner requirements.\nBuild strong knowledge of Cisco's portfolio and progressively develop specialization within a technical domain.\nOwn technical relationships with customers and partners, engaging with IT teams, business stakeholders, decision-makers, and implementers.\nAnalyze customer environments, business requirements, market trends, and competitive positioning to identify and shape opportunities.\nTranslate customer and partner business needs into technical requirements and recommend appropriate Cisco solutions.\nContribute to customer account planning, solution design, demand generation, and enablement activities.\nIdentify opportunities to expand Cisco's portfolio across areas such as networking, security, observability, and collaboration.\nLead technical engagements, presentations, demonstrations, and solution discussions tailored to specific customer scenarios.\nUse market trends and competitive insights to effectively position Cisco solutions and support competitive displacement.\nCollaborate with account teams, business entities, sales teams, partners, and other internal resources to drive customer success.\nManage and coordinate virtual technical support resources throughout the sales cycle.\nProvide feedback to business entities and relevant sales teams on strategic customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive trends.\nShare best practices and contribute to the development of technical and educational materials.\nAdapt workflows and approaches to effectively respond to changing customer and business requirements.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience.\nExperience in a technical sales, solutions engineering, pre-sales, or related customer-facing technical role.\nExperience understanding customer business and technical requirements and translating them into technology solutions.\nExperience delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, or solution discussions to customers or partners.\nExperience working collaboratively with sales, technical, and cross-functional teams throughout a sales cycle.\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong knowledge of enterprise technology solutions and experience developing expertise within a technical domain.\nExperience with Cisco technologies and/or enterprise networking, security, observability, or collaboration solutions.\nUnderstanding of competitive technology landscapes and experience positioning solutions against competitors.\nStrong customer engagement, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to navigate complex customer organizations and build relationships with technical and business decision-makers.\nWhy Cisco?\nAt Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era - and beyond.
