Positioned within Global Supplier Management and reporting to the Sr. Director of Silicon One Supplier Management, the role ensures alignment of supply, technology, and commercial strategy to support Cisco’s Silicon One.\nOperating across semiconductor technology, engineering, and supply chain, the role ensures Cisco maintains technology leadership, supply continuity, and competitive advantage.\nThis leader is responsible for building and leading a world-class organization focused on strategic sourcing, supplier management, and ecosystem development across the semiconductor value chain. As part of the Global Supplier Management leadership team, the role plays a critical part in enabling Cisco’s innovation, scale, and long-term growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine and implement global sourcing and supplier strategy across Foundry, OSAT, and Substrates\nSupport the end-to-end supplier ecosystem strategy for Silicon One, aligning capacity, technology, and roadmap readiness with product requirements\nPartner closely with Engineering and the Operation teams to influence silicon roadmap decisions, including node selection, packaging strategy, and supplier engagement models\nEstablish and manage strategic supplier relationships across technology, commercial terms, capacity, quality, and long-term partnerships\nDrive supply assurance andcapacity planning to enable business growth\nMonitor industry trends and technology shifts to proactively position Cisco for long-term advantage\nLead and develop high-performing teams across sourcing, supplier management, and commercial strategy\nWho You Are\nA strategic, highly collaborative executive with deep semiconductor industry expertise and a proven ability to operate across technology and supply chain domains. Brings a forward-looking perspective and the ability to translate market and technology signals into actionable strategies that drive business outcomes.\nCore Capabilities\nExpertise in the semiconductor ecosystem, including Foundry, OSAT andsubstrates\nStrong understanding of silicon technology roadmaps, including process nodes, advanced packaging, and capacity dynamics\nAbility to partner with engineering and business teams to implement product development, technology, and supply chain strategies\nNegotiator with experience structuring complex, strategic supplier agreements\nData-driven influencer with a strong focus on measurable outcomes\nHighly effective communicator with the ability to influence team members internally and externally\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field\n10+ years of experience in semiconductor sourcing, supplier management, or technology supply chain leadership\nExperience supporting custom silicon programs within complex technology environments\nStrong knowledge of Foundry, OSAT, and substrate markets, including technology trends and supplier landscape\nExperience in product development cycles and close partnership with engineering organizations\nFinancial and commercial expertise, including cost modeling, capacity planning, and long-term agreements\nWhy Cisco?\nAt Cisco, we’re redefining how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era and beyond!
