Be seen, be understood, be you. \nRole Overview\nWe are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and operate highly reliable network infrastructure across both cloud and on-premises environments. This role requires strong expertise in networking, cloud architectures, and network automation.\nYou will work as a key technical contributor within the Network Engineering team, implementing architectural designs, contributing to automation initiatives, and ensuring resilient, scalable, and secure connectivity across multiple environments. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Platform Engineering, SRE, and Security teams to deliver robust network infrastructure.\nWhat You'll Do \nDesign, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments\nImplement and maintain routing architectures including BGP, OSPF, route policies, and peering strategies\nImplement and manage hybrid networking including VPNs, Direct Connect, and inter-region routing\nManage and configure Juniper networking hardware\nDevelop network automation using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)\nImplement network security controls including segmentation, firewall policies, and access management\nParticipate in capacity planning, performance optimisation, and traffic analysis\nParticipate in incident response and root cause analysis for network-related outages\nManage ISP connectivity including transit providers, private circuits, and carrier relationships\nWhat You'll Bring \nCore Networking Expertise\n7+ years of experience in network engineering roles\nRelevant experience or certification (e.g. CCNP or JNCIP Data centre, Enterprise or Service provider)\nStrong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, routing policies, and network troubleshooting\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, routing, switching, and load balancing\nHands-on experience with Juniper networking platforms (SRX Firewalls, QFX switching)\nAbility to troubleshoot layer 2 (ARP and MAC address tables as well as LACP and MC-LAG)\nAbility to troubleshoot DNS problems\nExperience with common network cabling\nKubernetes CNI (Calico, Cilium)\n Cloud & Hybrid Networking\nExperience with hybrid cloud networking including site-to-site VPNs and private connectivity (AWS Direct Connect, GCP Interconnect)\nUnderstanding of cloud-native networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Cloud Router)\nAutomation & Infrastructure-as-Code\nWorking knowledge of Terraform for network infrastructure provisioning\nExperience with configuration management tools (Ansible, or similar)\nObservability & Operations\nExperience implementing network monitoring and alerting systems\nUnderstanding of network performance metrics and logging\nAbility to create and maintain runbooks and documentation\nSecurity\nExperience implementing network security controls and segmentation\nUnderstanding of firewall management and security policies\nFamiliarity with network access control concepts\nBonus Skills and Experience\nEVPN\nExperience with RIPE\nGood understanding of MANRS and RPKI\nExperience with IPv6 rollout\nJuniper specific knowledge and experience\nLinux CLI\nWhat We Offer \nCision is the global leader in consumer and media intelligence, engagement, and communication solutions.
