Be seen, be understood, be you. \nThis role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that support business needs. It contributes to both new feature development and the enhancement of existing systems, applying software engineering principles to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable applications.\nWhat You'll Do \nDesign, develop, and maintain software systems, applications, or services.\nCollaborate with team members and stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into solutions.\nWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.\nParticipate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure software quality and performance.\nContribute to troubleshooting and debugging efforts, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.\nSupport platform performance, monitoring, and operational health through logging, alerting, and diagnostics.\nEngage in Agile development practices including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.\nProvide technical input into project planning, estimation, and risk assessment.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as required to support business needs.\nWhat You'll Bring \nThorough knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in area of discipline. Competent in all job functions and has a general understanding of the industry’s practices, techniques and standards.\nDevelops solutions for a variety of situations and works on projects requiring evaluation and analysis. May refer to policies, practices and precedents for guidance; determines best course of action to achieve results.\nWork is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. May receive some limited guidance for new assignments. Work may be reviewed for overall adequacy.\nCollaborates with management and team members within the department/function and other areas of the organization. May represent department internally or externally.\nActions may impact on the success of the overall department and/or the organization. Failure to accomplish work or erroneous decisions may result in delays to projects, loss of revenue or allocation of additional resources to remedy.\nQualifications\nTypical experience: 3+ years in related role or experience.\nActual experience may vary depending on role complexity, geography, and internal development opportunities or a comparable mix of training, education, and experience.\nExperience in software development using modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).\nExperience using coding agents, e.g. Github Copilot, to contribute effectively to a codebase.\nFamiliarity with application architecture, APIs, data modeling, and design patterns.\nKnowledge of source control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes.\nUnderstanding of performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability in software systems.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.\nActual experience may vary depending on role complexity, geography, and internal development opportunities or a comparable mix of training, education, and experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nEducation: University degree preferred.\nExperience working across full-stack environments (e.g., frontend frameworks, backend services, databases).\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, or containerization tools.\nExposure to system integration, monitoring practices, and operational support.\nDemonstrated experience mentoring others or contributing to technical decision-making.\nPlease note that this position is only available to candidates who are currently residing in Hungary.
