Job Description Summary\nThe Client Integration Specialist will be responsible for ensuring seamless connectivity between Cisive's platform and client systems, supporting new client onboardings and the expansion of existing client programs.\nThis role will work closely with Project Managers, clients, integration partners, and internal technical teams to configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain integrations between Cisive's platform and third-party applications.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in API troubleshooting, MS SQL Server, REST APIs, data mapping, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). The role requires a technically proficient individual with strong analytical, problem-solving, and client communication skills.\n2. Duties and Responsibilities\nServe as a subject matter expert for client integrations, including REST APIs, ATS platforms, and other third-party systems.\nConfigure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain API integrations between Cisive's platform and client systems.\nPerform API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, or similar platforms.\nTroubleshoot API failures, authentication issues, data exchange errors, and integration-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate resolutions.\nWrite and execute SQL queries using MS SQL Server to investigate data discrepancies, validate records, and troubleshoot integration issues.\nPerform data mapping, transformation, validation, and ETL-related activities to ensure accurate data transfer between systems.\nWork with different data formats, including JSON and XML, to support API integrations.\nSupport integrations with major Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR platforms, including Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar systems.\nWork with authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, API Keys, Basic Authentication, SAML/SSO, and certificates.\nAnalyze system logs, identify integration failures, and perform root cause analysis to resolve technical issues.\nCollaborate with client technical teams, Project Managers, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to successfully implement and launch integrations within agreed timelines.\nMaintain technical documentation, API specifications, integration configurations, testing results, and troubleshooting procedures.\nProvide technical guidance and support to clients and integration partners throughout the implementation and integration lifecycle.\nIdentify opportunities to improve integration processes, technical workflows, and overall client experience.\n3. Minimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical work experience.\n2-4 years of experience in technical support, systems integration, API support, client onboarding, or technical implementation.\nHands-on experience with REST APIs, API testing, and troubleshooting.\nPractical experience writing SQL queries using MS SQL Server.\nExperience with data mapping, ETL processes, and data validation.\nExperience configuring, supporting, or troubleshooting integrations with at least one major ATS or HRIS platform.\nStrong understanding of API authentication methods and data exchange formats.\nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.\n4. Core Technical Skills\nAPI Integration and Troubleshooting\nStrong understanding of REST APIs and API communication.\nHands-on experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.\nAbility to create and test API requests, interpret responses, and troubleshoot HTTP errors.\nUnderstanding of JSON and XML data formats.\nExperience troubleshooting API authentication and authorization issues.\nDatabase and SQL\nHands-on experience with MS SQL Server.\nAbility to independently write and execute SQL queries, including SELECT, JOIN, INSERT, and UPDATE statements.\nExperience investigating data discrepancies and validating records using SQL.\nFamiliarity with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or similar database management tools.\nATS and HR Systems Integration\nExperience supporting, configuring, or troubleshooting integrations with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.\nFamiliarity with platforms such as Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar systems.\nUnderstanding of data exchange and field mapping between ATS platforms and third-party applications.\nData Mapping and ETL\nExperience mapping data fields between multiple applications.\nUnderstanding of ETL processes, data transformation, and validation.\nAbility to identify and resolve data inconsistencies across integrated systems.\nTechnical Troubleshooting and Documentation\nExperience analyzing system logs and identifying root causes of integration failures.\nUnderstanding of authentication protocols, including OAuth 2.0, API Keys, Basic Authentication, and SAML/SSO.\nAbility to prepare technical documentation, integration guides, and configuration specifications.\n5.
