is looking for a Senior Data Steward to join our Data Governance team and help drive data quality, ownership, and usability across the organization.\nThis professional will play a key role in establishing and maintaining governance processes, managing metadata, supporting data quality initiatives, and acting as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure data is properly documented, trusted, and aligned with governance standards.\nResponsibilities\nManage metadata requests and maintain data documentation and catalog information.\n\nAct as a business and governance analyst for data-related initiatives.\n\nPartner with data owners and business stakeholders to define and document data ownership and accountability.\n\nEnsure adherence to data governance policies, standards, and best practices.\n\nIdentify data issues and coordinate resolution through the appropriate governance processes.\n\nProfile datasets and create basic data quality checks and controls.\n\nSupport data-related requests and promote data usability and trust across the organization.\n\nCollaborate with technical and business teams to improve data governance processes and standards.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nProven experience in Data Governance, Data Stewardship, or Data Management roles.\n\nStrong understanding of:\nData Governance frameworks and practices\n\nMetadata management\n\nData Quality principles and controls\n\nData ownership and data lifecycle management\n\nData contracts and governance policies\n\nFamiliarity with Data Engineering concepts, including data ingestion processes and ETL/ELT.\n\nExperience or familiarity with Databricks environments.\n\nUnderstanding of programming logic and basic knowledge of Python.\n\nStrong
