The Team Lead manages a distributed team of developers across multiple regions, and remains hands-on in solution architecture. The role is focused on delivering governed, scalable analytics solutions, as part of company wide data strategy rollout. The successful candidate will use their experience and talent to help drive the delivery of the system, introduce new tech and guide the evolution of our applications.\nResponsibilities\nJob Duties in Brief:\nLead delivery of BI and analytics solutions using Qlik Sense, Power BI/Microsoft Fabric and Databricks\nManage and mentor a distributed team of BI developers \nDefine and enforce BI development, governance, and administration standards \nEnsure effective integration patterns between Databricks and BI semantic layers \nPartner with data engineering, cloud, and business stakeholders \nStay current on emerging technologies and be able to match them to a Citco need when required\nDrive adoption of AI-assisted BI development within governance boundaries \nLeverage AI coding assistants (e.g., Kiro, GitHub Copilot) to enhance development efficiency and problem-solving\nQualifications\nAbout You:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent\nProven experience leading a team \n5+ years of experience in developing BI solutions, queries and database objects with RDBMS \nKnowledge of AI/ML implementation patterns and ELT/ETL principles\n5+ years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)\nExperience with AWS services such as S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, IAM, CFN is an asset\nExperience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Kiro, AmazonQ, GitHub Copilot) to enhance development efficiency and problem-solving capabilities\nExperience with version control systems (Git)\nExperience with programming languages (Python, Javascript)\nExperience working on Agile teams\nExposure to API development\nData governance framework experience\nKnowledge of financial industry will be preferred.\nMust be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and both verbal and written communication skills.\nActive interest in emerging technologies and industry trends\nExperience implementing complex data solutions\nTrack record of continuous learning and skill development\nStrong technical documentation abilities\nExperience using AI tools to enhance productivity\nAbility to mentor junior team members\nWhat Sets You Apart:\nWhat We Offer:\nA challenging and rewarding role in an award-winning global business.\nOpportunities for personal and professional career development. \nGreat working environment, competitive salary and benefits, and opportunities for educational support.\nBe part of an industry leading global team, renowned for excellence\nSalary Range:\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy\nOur Benefits\nYour wellbeing is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
