Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means\nour people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.\nYour Role:\nSupervise the work performed by Global Operations Support staff\nParticipate in training of team members; assisting the Manager in preparation and execution of staff development plans\nMonitor and ensure that transactions are properly executed\nEnsure adherence to controls and procedures; preparing and contributing to management control reports\nDevelop and monitor Service Level Agreements\nTake a leadership role as a subject matter expert for the department\nMaintain knowledge of current regulatory and compliance environment as it effects our services and/or clients\nParticipate in projects when required\nOverall leadership and coaching of staff including Supervisor and their direct reports\nOversee the daily operations of the teams and provide support and guidance in accomplishing department goals\nCreate and maintain acceptable service levels for key areas of responsibility\nCreate an environment of co-operation and initiative through appropriate delegation, empowerment, training and motivation\nAnticipate and resolve work concerns and exercise sound judgment to make appropriate adjustments\nContribute to the roll out and success of the global processing initiative, working closely with colleagues in multiple locations globally\nAssess areas of risk on each team and within the department and implement processes to address areas of concern\nIdentify opportunities to enhance technology and automate procedures to limit or eliminate manual processes.\nAssist in the developing a global forum dedicated to sharing best practices and improving processing standards\nBuild, develop and maintain reporting systems, data automation, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions.\nOversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.\nRationalize current reporting inventory and establish future state reporting requirements\nEnsure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting team with comprehensive policies and processes\nManage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, and mining\nExamine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology and product teams.\nCommunicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders.\nSupport the Marshall Wace fund launch and help deliver a smooth onboarding experience.\nAct as a key contact for investor servicing activities, ensuring a high standard of responsiveness and client experience.\nCollaborate closely with colleagues across Toronto, Dublin, and Manila to deliver a seamless global service model.\nBuild strong working relationships with the client, primarily based in New York and London.\nCommunicate clearly, manage queries well, and keep quality, timely delivery and operational excellence front of mind.\n About You:\nYou are a Degree holder in Accounting/Finance/Economics\nYou have 4+ years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably Investor Relations and/or Client Service related\nYou have 3+ years’ experience managing staff\nYou have knowledge of hedge funds and/or fund of funds\nYou have knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues and anti-money laundering policies\nDegree in Business/Accounting/Finance/Economics or any related course\n6+ years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably in an Investor Relations / Transfer Agency Environment with technical knowledge of Transfer Agency functions, such as share dealing, client reporting, cash processing, fee rebates and distributions across different fund types.\nA good understanding of Anti Money Laundering Requirements of local Regulator and Bank Policy and excellent awareness of Fraud prevention, Compliance requirements and operational risk areas\nExperience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions\nExperience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes\nStrong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously\nProficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)\nOur Benefits\nYour well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
