Senior Application Engineer\nPune\nPOSITION DESCRIPTION:\nThis position is responsible for Software implementation, System Integration, Development, Configuration, Technical Support, and Performance Tuning. The primary purpose of the position is to install and configure software and provide Level II Support for Vendor products with primary focus on Informatica Master Data Management. Additional responsibilities may include Development of new system functionality, Project Management and Testing.\nExperience with financial domain is desirable but not mandatory.\nThe ideal candidate will have an Application Development background with the ability to quickly learn vendor applications from the inside out. This position will work with Business units and the Technology Groups. Occasional travel may be required.\nORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS:\nThis position is a key position within the Vendor Products IT team.\nPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:\nAct as platform owner for the MDM system, responsible for platform availability, performance and operational excellence.\nLead the deployment, configuration and administration of MDM platform and related components.\nOversee the integration of MDM platform with source and target systems, ensuring reliable data flows and synchronization.\nManage upgrades, patches and technical enhancements of the MDM platform in coordination with vendors and internal teams.\nMonitor system health, perform root cause analysis and proactively resolve performance issues.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, workflows and operational manuals. \nCollaborate closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements and compliance standards. \nWork with IT Security team to implement security controls, access management and data privacy policies on the platform. \nAutomate routine operational tasks using scripting to improve efficiency and reduce errors. \nSupport capacity planning, disaster recovery and backup strategies for Informatica MDM. \nParticipate in development cycles, coordinating with DevOps for integration related to MDM platform deployments. \nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:\nQualifications and Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline. \nMinimum 5 years experience managing or administering Informatica MDM platform in enterprise environments. \nStrong expertise with MDM hub, PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality tools.\nHands on experience with database technologies and data integration techniques, \nSolid understanding of ETL processes, data modelling and metadata management. \nExperience with monitoring and troubleshooting complex MDM workflows and batch processes. \nKnowledge of cloud platforms and hybrid data architecture. \nUnderstanding of data governance, security standards and regulatory compliance related to data management. \nExcellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills. \nPreferred Skills:\nInformatica certifications such as Informatica MDM Developer or Administrator certifications. \nExperience in a platform owner of technical lead role overseeing Informatica MDM. \nKnowledge of Informatica Cloud services and hybrid deployment models. \nFamiliarity with API integrations and service orchestration related to MDM.\nExperience with containerizations is a plus. \nOur Benefits\nYour well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
