The primary purpose of the position is to install and configure software and provide Level II Support for Vendor products with primary focus on regulatory applications. Initially the role relates to third party products in the area of Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance, but may expand over time into other vendor applications. Additional responsibilities may include Development of new system functionality, Project Management and Testing.\nExperience with Banking or Compliance applications is desirable but not mandatory.\nThe ideal candidate will have an Application Development and Support background with the ability to quickly learn vendor applications from the inside out. This position will work with Business units and the Technology Group. Occasional travel may be required.\nYou will analyze, support and maintain strategic bespoke business platforms in a hybrid hosting environment, across AWS Cloud and on-prem.\n\nProvide engineering support of functional and performance issues on a range of applications\n\nPrepare changes, scripting, monitor and schedule updates to optimize operations\n\nConduct performance analysis and tuning in of application servers, database tiers and infrastructure\n\nParticipate and collaborate across multi-functional groups in the operational support model\n\nParticipate in the Operational Excellence strategy, including strategic monitoring and LEAN process improvement\n\nImplementation\nInstall and configure new releases into Test and Production environments\n\nCoordinate the Release process with business groups, vendors and operations\n\nCommunicate detailed descriptions of functionality changes and provide follow-up support as required\n\nApplication Support / Development\nMaintain applications, and Configure/Develop new system functionality\n\nAdminister and resolve support requests coming from application users\n\nCreate and run ad-hoc database queries / Reports\n\nEffectively Communicate with the user community\n\nMaintain existing interfaces, and Design and Develop application interfaces as required\n\nMaintain working knowledge of technical enhancements and new functionality\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve performance issues at the OS, Database, and SQL code levels\n\nData Management & Configuration\nDevelop and execute database queries to manage tables\n\nCreate, Copy, Move, and Delete databases\n\nOversee technical environments including databases, application servers, and web servers\n\nTesting\nCoordinate QA and Stress Testing.\n\nProvide direction and support to the Business Divisions for User Acceptance Testing.\n\nCreate Test Cases and coordinate execution of the Test Plans.\n\nAbout You:\nYou have a Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.\n\n4+ years’ experience in Enterprise Development or Application Support\n\nExperience supporting 3rd party vendor applications and interfaces\n\nExperience supporting and operating Cloud environments, e.g., AWS\n\nAWS or other cloud certifications is beneficial\n\nStrong experience with MS SQL and other database technologies\n\nExperience with SQL Server Integration Services\n\nKnowledge of Windows, UNIX (Solaris, Linux), basic networking and scripting\n\nKnowledge of XML\n\nDemonstrated knowledge and skill with managing change\n\nCustomer-focused, flexible and comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced global environment\n\nAbility to quickly learn and apply new technologies\n\nStrong listening, questioning and analytic skills\n\nExcellent oral/written communication skills\n\nOur Benefits\nYour well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
