Through our network of global development centers, Citco invests heavily in technology development, security, and infrastructure to ensure our clients continue to receive award-winning products that underpin our commitment to service excellence.\nAs a core member of our Global QA team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.\nYour Role:\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, creation, and execution of functional manual tests required to validate the quality of applications under tests across both agile and waterfall methodologies.\nAs a QA Analyst, your role includes working closely with multiple stakeholders to define suitable testing strategies based on the characteristics of individual projects. While the primary focus of this role is functional manual testing, the candidate will collaborate with the automation team to support appropriate test prioritization.\nAs a QA Analyst, your responsibilities include:\nDesign, creation, maintenance, optimization, and execution of functional manual test cases covering end-to-end business scenarios, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)\nValidate application functionality against business requirements and functional specifications\nParticipate in requirements and design reviews to ensure testability and completeness\nDefine and contribute to suitable testing strategies in collaboration with stakeholders\nParticipate in agile testing ceremonies and help transition suitable applications to an agile framework\nWork with the automation and performance testing team to identify and propose appropriate test cases for automation prioritization\nConduct peer reviews of manual test scripts to ensure adherence to testing standards\nProduce individual QA status reports and support the full defect management lifecycle\nAccurately log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools\nWork closely with Business Analysts and business stakeholders to clarify functional requirements\nCollaborate with Development, Project Management, and QA teams\nCommunicate and report on assigned tasks to the QA Lead/Manager and PM\nTake responsibility and exhibit ownership of assigned tasks\nAbout You:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline\nAt least 1-2 years' experience in an agile testing specific role\n3+ years' experience in a functional testing specific role\nStrong background in QA processes, the Software Development Lifecycle and methodologies\nExperience with the following tools: JIRA, Xray, Confluence\nSolid understanding of test case design techniques (e.g., equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables)\nAble to set priorities and be flexible with a high degree of accuracy\nDisplay critical, quality-orientated, skeptical thinking about the product\nProactive, willing to accept responsibility with minimal handholding\nDemonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English\nAbility to work in fast-paced, complex Business & IT environments\nPositive and solution-oriented with team members and stakeholders\nRespond to change quickly, including adapting and improving test approaches\nStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks with urgency\nAble to work in a high-pressure environment, independently or as part of a team\nAccurately evaluate and report test results, test progress, and product quality\nISTQB Foundation Software Certification is a distinct advantage\nPermanent working night shift schedule is a must.\n\nOur Benefits\nYour well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
