These technologies encompass Robotic Process Automation, Python Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Prompt Engineering, APIs, and Cloud Services.\n About the Role:\nAs an Automation Developer within the Intelligent Automation (IA) team, you will be pivotal in developing and implementing automated solutions for the Citco Group. You will collaborate closely with process owners and business unit representatives to streamline and digitize operational processes, thereby driving significant efficiency and cost savings for Citco.\nJob Duties in Brief:\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and scripts to automate business processes\n\nBuild and support intelligent automation solutions combining Python, RPA (UiPath), Citco Document Intelligence, and low-code tools\n\nWrite efficient, optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting\n\nDesign, consume, and integrate REST/SOAP APIs; handle authentication, pagination, and error handling for third-party and internal services\n\nParse, transform, and validate JSON/XML data structures within automation and integration workflows\n\nDevelop and maintain front-end components using React\n\nLeverage AI code assistance tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Kiro) to accelerate development through effective prompt engineering and spec-driven development practices\n\nTranslate functional/technical specifications into clear, actionable prompts and implementation plans for AI-assisted coding\n\nCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions\n\nLearn and apply new technologies (AWS Cloud, Power Platform, Databricks, UiPath, Citco Document Intelligence) as project needs evolve\n\nParticipate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables, including validating AI-generated code\n\nDocument technical processes, code, and solutions for knowledge sharing\n\nDeliver projects on time, managing priorities across multiple initiatives\n\nWeekend testing will be required for releases (new functionality, bugs, enhancements, upgrades); generally one or two releases are scheduled per quarter\n\n About You:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)\n\n3+ years of professional experience in Python development\n\nProficiency in working with REST APIs and JSON/XML data formats (request/response handling, serialization/deserialization)\n\nStrong SQL skills, including query optimization and database design concepts\n\nExperience building UI components/applications using React\n\nFamiliarity with prompt engineering techniques and spec-driven development workflows\n\nHands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Kiro, or similar tools\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment\n\nDemonstrated adaptability and eagerness to learn new tools/technologies\n\nExperience using APIs\n\nAssets:\nExposure to AWS Cloud services (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS)\n\nFamiliarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)\n\nExperience with Databricks or other big data/analytics platforms\n\nKnowledge of UiPath or other RPA tools\n\nPractical experience writing detailed specs/prompts to drive AI-assisted code generation\n\nExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)\n\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies\n\nTechnical certification\n\nOur Benefits\nYour well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
