We are looking for true team players who can work beyond their specialty to help the team deliver. Every team member is responsible for the quality of the product and should be willing to work on any tasks needed, be it front-end, back end, test automation, deployment automation, etc. The successful candidate will use their experience and talent to help drive the delivery of the system, introduce new tech and guide the evolution of our applications.\n Your Role:\nYou will participate and contribute on all team activities such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Execution, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective\nDevelop front end React components\nDevelop and test server-side code using NodeJs + Typescript\nBe comfortable using relational databases and have strong knowledge of SQL\nPerform peer reviews and ensure the quality of the team’s work\nDesign and implement unit, integration, and automation tests\nResponsible for code integration and code deployment of existing modules as well as provide new pipelines for new modules (CI/CD)\nHave strong background in AWS services and practices.\nProvide technical leadership to other team members\nBreak-down complex functionalities into granular tasks and stories\nStay current on emerging technologies and be able to match them to Citco need when required\n About You:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent\n5+ years of experience with software engineering\n3+ years of experience with NodeJS + Typescript\n3+ years of experience with React\nExperience with Docker\nExperience developing server-side applications using Node.js frameworks such as or similar to NestJS/Hono\nSolid understanding of HTML5, ES6, CSS3, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks\nExperience with source code management such as GIT\nExperience with relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL)\nExperience working on Agile teams\nSolid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes - debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles and refactoring\nMust be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.\nKnowledge of financial industry, specially accounting / general ledger will be preferred.\nSalary Range: CAD $120,000 - CAD $150,000\nThis posting is not for an existing vacancy; we are building a candidate pool for future opportunities.\nOur Benefits:\nYour well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
