Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.\nAs a core member of our Private Equity team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.\nYour Role:\nYour role will encompass the administration of and any services pursuant to Administration Agreements in respect of a portfolio of Private Equity funds working closely with the Vice President and supervising a small team of accountants.\n\nResponsible for maintaining books and records and calculation of fund Net Asset Values;\n\nCoordinating and reviewing financial statements and associated reports, including performance metrics for monthly/quarterly reporting;\n\nCoordinate and review calculations of carried interest/performance/incentive fees;\n\nCoordinate and review calculations and investor allocations for capital calls, distributions and equalizations;\n\nCoordinate and review partner capital account statements;\n\nCoordinate processing of payments and other transactions;\n\nSupervise junior staff, reviewing and signing off on work performed;\n\nActing as a primary day-to-day contact with clients and other fund participants;\n\nWork closely with the Investor Relations team to respond to investor queries and to disseminate capital activity and other investor notices;\n\nMaintaining relationships with investors, investment advisors/managers, banks and auditors and other fund participants;\n\nAssisting auditors and other fund participants and advisers;\n\nParticipating in presentations to existing and prospective clients;\n\nMonitor compliance of various agreements with clients, including the Service Level Agreement;\n\nParticipating in projects that may be defined from time to time in connection with the continuing expansion and evolution of the business;\n\nAny other functions required as part of the business of the Company, and reporting to the Vice President.\n\nAbout You:\nBachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification (i.e. CA, CPA or ACCA or equivalent)\n\nWith 5+ years’ experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly Private Equity, Asset Management or Fund Administration.\n\nKnowledge of IFRS and / or USGAAP\n\nExperienced in reviewing and preparing general ledger and financial statements.\n\nEstablished knowledge in relation to accounting and consolidations under IFRS.\n\nExcellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written).\n\nMotivated, bright and diligent individual who is driven to meet deadlines.\n\nA team player who is able to manage individual responsibilities.\n\nSupervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 3+ years.\n\nStrong business acumen.\n\nGood client/ business relationship management\n\nSound judgment, problem solving and analytical skills.\n\nProficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).\n\nUser experience with enterprise accounting system(s).\n\nWorking knowledge of Investran highly desirable (or other Private Equity system e.g. E-Front)\n\nExperience in Limited Partnership accounting\n\nPrivate equity fund administration experience\n\nOur Benefits\nYour well being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
