You will work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability across our Lakehouse architecture.\nKey Responsibilities\nData Pipeline TestingAutomate testing for ETL/ELT processes in Databricks\nImplement Spark job testing and optimization validation\nCreate test cases for data ingestion and processing workflows\nDevelop automated checks for data transformations\nTest Unity Catalog features and access controls\n\nDatabricks TestingDesign and implement automated testing for Databricks notebooks and workflows\nCreate test frameworks for Delta Lake tables and ACID transactions\nDevelop automated validation for structured streaming pipelines\nValidate Delta Live Tables implementations\n\nQuality AssuranceDesign and execute data quality test strategies\nImplement automated data reconciliation processes\nDevelop performance testing for large-scale Spark jobs\n\nMonitoring & ReportingImplement pipeline monitoring test frameworks\nCreate automated test dashboards\nGenerate quality metrics and testing reports\nMaintain comprehensive test documentation\n\n About You\nEducational BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field\nRelevant certifications in Databricks or data testing are a plus\n\n Technical Experience2+ years hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark)\nStrong programming skills in Python (PySpark) and SQL\nExperience with data testing frameworks and tools\nProficiency with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Kiro\nKnowledge of AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda)\nUnderstanding of Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture\nExperience with version control systems (Git)\n\nAdditional SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities\nExperience with large-scale data processing\nKnowledge of data quality best practices\nUnderstanding of data governance and compliance requirements\nExperience with Agile methodologies\n\nPlatform KnowledgeDatabricks workspace and notebook development\nDelta Lake and Delta Live Tables\nUnity Catalog for governance testing\nSpark optimization and performance testing\n\nSalary Range: CAD $105,000 to CAD $135,000\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy.\nOur Benefits\nYour well being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
