The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, efficient, and high-quality solutions using Tableau.\nResponsibilities:\nWe are seeking a talented Tableau Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Tableau Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Tableau. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and translate them into effective Tableau dashboards and reports. Additionally, you will be involved in data modeling, data extraction, and performance tuning to ensure optimal performance of Tableau solutions.\nManager a small team of Tableau developers and help them in meeting the business requirements.\nDevelop interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.\nStudy and brainstorm on the existing business requirements and suggest a solution to be implemented.\nWork with business teams in designing & delivering a correct and high-quality automation solution to the changing business requirements\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\nOptimize Tableau performance by fine-tuning queries, data extracts, and dashboard designs.\nPerform unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Tableau solutions.\nProvide technical guidance and support other Tableau developers and end-users.\nStay up-to-date with Tableau best practices, new features, and industry trends\nDrive the vision and end state for reporting and analytics capability (using Tableau) supporting all the use cases\nSupport requirements prioritization criteria and manage the prioritization process including getting sign offs from senior stakeholders\nCoordinate user acceptance Testing and resolution of issues with the team.\nSupport the overall Reporting and Analytics workstream vision and objectives\nEnsure design of capabilities to adhere to all Citi Risk and Control requirements\nAssess reporting tool performance is in line with the use case requirements\nExperience / Knowledge / Skills:\nFinance professional with an engineering undergrad with at least 6 to 10 years of experience, preferably related to driving digital or business intelligence tool roll outs as a business stage holder or program team\nProficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.\nStrong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.\nWorking hands on knowledge of SQL Fundamentals, SQL Queries, SQL joins and relational database.\nStrategic thinking around data modeling and see/understand the bigger picture of what the Market Risk team needs in the future which will help smoothen the automation initiative.\nEmphasize the ability to analyze current problem and anticipate future ask/requirements and develop a strategic solution to mitigate the future business challenges\nBasic understanding of CICD pipelines\nExperience in data modeling, data extraction, and performance tuning.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong understanding of data architecture and reporting platform architecture requirements and performance standards\nKnowledge of Financial domain, risk and specifically Market risk is an added advantage\nAbility to work with stakeholders at different levels (ranging from FP&A heads to middle management) and resolve contentious items expeditiously in a tactful manner\nStrong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior-level executives\nIntegrity, maturity, dependability, a positive professional attitude\nExcellent organizational and project management skills\nKnowledge of Agile methodology and experience in managing large scale projects using Agile preferred\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance or a related quantitative discipline.
