# Backend Engineering Lead(Java, Microservices & DevOps) - Assistant Vice President

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities with hands-on experience onboth Java programming and DevOps tools and technologies. Responsibilities: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments. Monitor applications using modern observability tools and apply intelligent monitoring or anomaly detection techniques. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Build and enhance RESTful APIs and enterprise-grade distributed systems with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability. Lead development efforts in system design, code reviews, and best practices enforcement.
