BANAMEX - UX Insights Designer Jr

The User Experience Analyst is an intermediate level role, learning about, and contributing to, the research, analysis and design of digital products and systems.

User Experience partners with Product and Technology colleagues to create innovative and intuitive digital products that deliver best-in-class user experience and usability to our clients, both internally and externally. We undertake a wide spectrum of activities, from discovery and research, through definition, ideation, and design, to the management of design systems and the delivery of interactive prototypes and high-fidelity designs to our development partners.

The UX Design Group’s primary goal is to research and design products and solutions that are streamlined, intuitive, consistent, accessible, great-looking, and easy-to-use, which perfectly suit (or even anticipate) our clients’ needs.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in meetings with users, clients, product sponsors and technology to understand project requirements
• Contribute to UX research, IA design, user journeys, create personas
• Learn the importance of metrics/data to support decision-making
• Work closely with users, stakeholders, business analysts, product managers and development teams to brainstorm and co-create ideas, approaches, and solutions
• Participate in testing to validate and inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using specialist tools such as Sketch, InVision, Axure, and the Adobe suite
• Apply a positive and constructive attitude to all feedback
• Use the approved design system
• Adhere to design standards and best practices
• Perform detailed handover to development teams, ensuring they have all they need to implement the designs
• Provide ongoing support to development, with regular UX review checkpoints as needed
• Keep up to date with the latest UX practices, innovations, and tools
• Ensure all designs comply with ADA/WCAG standards for accessibility
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 0 - 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong attention to detail & analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Basic experience with design tools, or willingness & ability to learn quickly
• Keen interest in, or knowledge of, banking or finance
• HTML/CSS Development Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Actividades principales

• Apoyar la ejecución de investigaciones de usuarios, tanto cualitativas como cuantitativas, para comprender comportamientos, necesidades y oportunidades de mejora en productos, servicios y experiencias digitales.
• Aplicar progresivamente metodologías y herramientas de UX Research (entrevistas a profundidad, triadas, usability testing, A/B testing, card sorting, tree testing, concept testing, benchmark, etnografía, desk research, etc…), Design Thinking, Diseño estratégico, Innovación, Service Design, Behavioral Design, Diseño de Futuros, Análisis de tendencias y Analítica de datos.
• Analizar y sintetizar hallazgos de investigación para generar insights y recomendaciones accionables.
• Colaborar con equipos de Diseño, Producto, Negocio y Tecnología para el diseño y desarrollo de experiencias digitales.
• Mantener un mindset de curiosidad, pasión por aprender, descubrir y generar nuevas propuestas.

Formación académica (deseable)

• Diseño Industrial, Diseño Gráfico, Psicología, Antropología, Sociología, Ciencias de Datos o carreras afines.
• Formación complementaria en UX, UX Research, Service Design, Behavioral Design, Innovación o disciplinas relacionadas.

Software

• Ideal contar con conocimiento en Maze, Figma o similares
• Microsoft office (Excel, Power point)
• Herramientasde AI (Copilot o similares)

Experiencia

• De 6 meses a 2 años de experiencia en UX Research, Insights, Innovación o áreas afines.
• Se consideran prácticas profesionales, servicio social, estancias o proyectos académicos relevantes.
