Content and Audio Storytelling, Global Communications - Vice President
Citi’s Global Communications team is seeking an expert writer and audio story producer to join us as a VP of Content and Audio Storytelling. We are looking for a bold, strategic storyteller with exceptional writing abilities and a passion for audio content to bring our firm’s progress to life and rally colleagues worldwide around our mission.
As a key content creator within the ESPA organization, you will produce narratives that cut through the noise, inspire engagement, and reinforce Citi’s priorities. Your responsibilities will have a particular focus on:
- Crafting a wide range of written materials, from in-depth articles for our internal storytelling and resource hub to crisp scripts for videos and executive communications. Your work will ensure our business progress is told with consistency, clarity, and creativity.
- Conceptualizing, scripting, and producing compelling audio content, including podcasts, interviews, and narrative stories specifically for our internal app.
- Analyze content performance and deliver regular insights to stakeholders, using data to refine our narrative approach.
- Manage the end-to-end production lifecycle for multiple content projects, from initial brief to final publication, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Reporting to the Content Strategy Director, you will be a central figure in shaping how we communicate our success and strategy.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy, corporate communications, journalism, or a related field, with a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional written and audio work.
- Expert-level writing, storytelling, and editing skills, with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives, from scripts to in-depth articles, that align with strategic goals.
- Demonstrated experience in audio production, including conceptualizing, scripting, and producing engaging content such as podcasts or narrative audio stories.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy, and the ability to influence senior executives and collaborate effectively across a complex organization.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple content projects from ideation to execution.
- A team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to contribute to a shared vision.
- Track record of success in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Integrity, maturity, dependability, and a positive professional attitude.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$103,920.00 - $155,880.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
