The Associate will partner closely with senior bankers, product partners, and risk teams to deliver high-quality advice, credit analysis, and operational excellence.\nThis role provides broad exposure to corporate finance, capital structure analysis, credit underwriting, and cross-product banking solutions within a global financial institution.\nKey Responsibilities\nClient & Relationship Management\nSupport Senior Relationship Managers in managing a portfolio of Benelux-based corporates, contributing to the development and execution of relationship strategies\nPrepare client materials including pitch books, financial updates, industry analysis, and internal briefing notes\nCoordinate across product partners (Investment Banking, Markets, Treasury & Trade Solutions, FX, etc.) to deliver integrated solutions\nParticipate in client meetings, calls, and internal deal teams, acting as a key execution partner\nCredit & Transaction Execution\nPerform financial analysis, cash flow modeling, and credit assessment in support of lending, revolver, term loan, and structured finance transactions\nAssist in the preparation of credit applications, annual reviews, and risk memos in accordance with Citi risk standards\nAnalyze capital structures, liquidity profiles, covenant packages, and return metrics\nSupport deal execution from origination through closing, including documentation coordination and internal approvals\nPartner with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure transactions meet internal and regulatory requirements\nBusiness Development & Strategy\nContribute to sector and market analysis to identify opportunities for new client acquisition or wallet growth\nAssist in tracking pipeline activity, revenues, and returns on capital\nSupport internal initiatives related to process improvement, portfolio optimization, or regulatory deliverables\nQualifications & Experience\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field\nIdeally 2-6 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Credit, Leveraged Finance, or Commercial Banking\nStrong financial analysis skills, including:Financial statement analysis\nCash flow and credit modeling\nCapital structure and leverage analysis\n\nSolid understanding of corporate lending products and banking solutions\nHigh attention to detail with strong execution discipline\nAbility to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nThis Role is a “Controlled Function” Role as defined by the Central Bank of Ireland Reform Act 2010 and Principal Regulations 2011, and amending Regulations 2014, 2015\n------------------------------------------------------\nJob Family Group:\nInstitutional Banking------------------------------------------------------\nJob Family:\nCorporate Banking------------------------------------------------------\nTime Type:\nFull time------------------------------------------------------\nPrimary Location Full Time Salary Range:\n€120,000.00 -
