With a focus on cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices, you will design and implement robust security solutions that safeguard the organization against evolving cyber risks.\nAs a Cyber Security Engineer, you will\nMust have skills for the role:\nEngineer and optimize enterprise firewall platforms such as Palo Alto PAN-OS, Check Point Gaia and troubleshoot performance and reliability issues on high-load proxy, firewall, and network-security components.\nCollaborate with SOC teams to improve detection coverage, reduce false positives, and validate telemetry and support vulnerability management processes.\nBuild and tune monitoring dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix.\nPerform L3-level Engineering activities across Linux, DNS, networking, routing, authentication, and security layers.\nProduce clear operational and security documentation for global engineering and audit requirements.\nOptional experience is a plus with:\nHarden Linux systems following CIS and internal security baselines.\nManage and configure forward and reverse proxies: Blue Coat, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, HAProxy, NGINX, Squid, Apache. implement and tune WAF and L7 security controls (F5 ASM, HAProxy, Cloudflare WAF). administrate load balancers such as F5 BIG-IP, Citrix ADC, or HAProxy enterprise variants. Maintain, build, design virtualization technologies including VMware ESXi and Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and secure containerized applications, with practical experience in container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift.\nBuild automation with Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash, and Git, applying IaC standards.\nIntegrate, maintain, and monitor SIEM pipelines for Splunk, CRIBL, XSOAR Stack and Manage log enrichment, parsing, and transport via syslog or derivatives.\nIdeal background\nThe ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Check Point/Palo Alto/Fortinet and opensource firewall technologies and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining firewalls and related security solutions in scale.\n5+ years in cybersecurity or network security engineering and implementation, hands-on experience with automation tools Ansible, Bash and Python scripting.\nFamiliar how to work with large scale enterprise networks and procedures during research/design and implementation phases.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.\nStrong hands-on experience with firewall deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting\nUnderstanding of basic protocols like DNS/HTTP/IPsec, and SSL/TLS while working with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, Forward, reverse-proxy or WAF solutions.\nLinux administration expertise - build, maintain, configure base OS or docker systems individually or through automation, cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.\nBeneficial Skills & Qualifications\nFamiliarity with design metrics, analytics tools, and benchmarking methodologies used to evaluate infrastructure performance and identify improvement opportunities.\nExperience operating in a matrix organisation, coordinating across virtual and geographically distributed teams.\nA track record of leading operational process improvements that have delivered measurable outcomes in a complex technology environment.\nWhat We Offer\nAt Citi, you will be part of a high-performing global engineering team where your work has real impact across the firm's technology infrastructure.
