Data Analyst – Data & Program Governance - Vice President

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Data Analyst with a profound understanding of data analytics, advanced SQL, and robust program governance methodologies to lead critical initiatives within our Services Solutions division. This pivotal role demands a strategic individual capable of driving large-scale, data-centric programs from inception to successful completion. The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering data-driven decision-making, conducting comprehensive business analysis, and ensuring strategic program delivery aligns seamlessly with overarching business objectives and stringent regulatory mandates. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Analysis & Program Leadership:
  • Lead and direct comprehensive business analysis efforts for complex, large-scale programs, meticulously defining project scope, establishing measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and articulating detailed business requirements.
  • Champion robust program governance frameworks, meticulously developing strategic roadmaps, managing program backlogs, and ensuring transparent reporting to executive stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, implementing effective controls to ensure unwavering adherence to compliance standards and internal policies.
• Advanced Data Analytics & Insight Generation:
  • Leverage expert proficiency in SQL and advanced data analytics techniques to extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets, generating actionable insights that directly inform strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct rigorous data validation, integrity checks, and reconciliation processes to ensure the highest levels of data accuracy and reliability for financial processes, reporting, and operational optimization.
  • Develop and implement sophisticated data models and analytical solutions to support business intelligence, performance measurement, and predictive capabilities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Solution Delivery:
  • Act as a primary liaison, collaborating closely with technology, data engineering, and business intelligence teams to design, develop, and implement innovative data solutions and analytical tools.
  • Provide expert guidance and support throughout the system implementation lifecycle, including rigorous testing, user acceptance, and the continuous enhancement of deployed solutions.
• Leadership & Team Development:
  • Drive stakeholder engagement across various levels of the organization, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment on program goals and deliverables.
  • Actively mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional development in data analytics, SQL, and program management best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, and/or Program Governance roles, with a strong preference for candidates from the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Demonstrated mastery of SQL for complex data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Extensive experience in data analysis, data modeling, and the implementation of robust data governance frameworks.
  • Proven track record with large-scale program delivery, particularly involving intricate financial systems and data integration projects.
• Methodological Acumen:
  • Solid understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum) in a large enterprise environment.
• Core Competencies:
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise insights.
  • Superior stakeholder management, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills, capable of influencing decisions at all organizational levels.

Education

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
