They are responsible for building and maintaining datamarts, migrating legacy BI tools to modern platforms like Tableau, and automating data refreshes for dashboards. Projects include tracking ATM availability and performance, managing service tickets, and upgrading software for uninterrupted service. They aim to empower business stakeholders with accurate and timely information for strategic decision-making. Their work also supports capacity planning and issue remediation efforts.\nThe Data/Information Analyst is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.\nIn this role, you're expected to:\nGathers operational data from various cross functional stakeholders to examine past business performance\nIdentifies data patterns & trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc.\nRecommends actions for future developments & strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies.\nMay be involved in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis and/or qualitative analysis.\nTranslate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders all findings\nContinuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities\nWork closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving decision strategies\nAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.\n\nAs a successful candidate, should ideally have the following skills and exposure:\n Data Warehousing & BI Tools: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and experience working with Business Intelligence platforms ( Expertise in Tableau).\nReporting & Dashboard Development: Proficiency in developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using reporting tools and data visualization techniques. Ability to create clear and concise visualizations of key data.\nData Management & SQL: Expertise in data management principles, SQL programming for data extraction and manipulation, and database management systems.\nProficiency in SQL server to manage end to end data flow.\nCommunication & Stakeholder Management: Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with business partners to understand reporting requirements.\n Automation & Scripting: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and automation tools (e.g., SSIS) for automating report generation, data refreshes, and other routine tasks.\nUse MSBI(SSIS) efficiently to create data pipelines for Datamart\nQualifications:\nWork experience: 5-8 years experience working with Tableau, with a proven track record of creating high-impact dashboards as an individual contributor. Experience in managing end to end reporting lifecycle. \n Tableau: Tableau Desktop (Expert) and Tableau Server (Intermediate). Experience in Tableau Prep is a plus but not mandatory.\n SQL: Strong SQL skills for data extraction and preparation. SQL Server (Expert) and Oracle SQL (Basic)\n Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience working with various data sources. MSBI (Intermediate)\nAI Tools: Microsoft Copilot, VS Code is as added advantage\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and quantify opportunities for improvement.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nBanking Knowledge: Good understanding of the banking domain, banking products and Operations in banking is preferred.\nSoft Skills: Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
