In this high-impact leadership role, you will lead the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Support teams responsible for the availability, scalability, resilience, and performance of our enterprise AI platforms, public/hybrid cloud estates (AWS, GCP), Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes ecosystems, and enterprise CI/CD pipelines.\nAs a C14 leader, you will provide strategic oversight and technical direction across multi-disciplinary teams, drive operational excellence, set platform resilience standards, and partner directly with Senior Engineering Directors, Enterprise Architects, and Business Executives to evolve Citi’s core developer and AI enablement platforms.\nKey Responsibilities\n Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to align platform roadmaps with business priorities and regulatory mandates.\n Container & Kubernetes Platform Reliability: Drive the operational architecture, health, and reliability strategy for enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters across on-premises and hybrid cloud footprints. \nPublic Cloud Operations (AWS / GCP): Oversee cloud infrastructure operations, governance, cost optimization (FinOps), identity management, security guardrails, and compliance across public cloud environments hosting enterprise AI/ML workloads and microservices. \nPlatform Architecture & Standards: Partner with platform engineering teams to define architectural standards, container security baselines, deployment topologies, service mesh integration (e.g., Istio), and multi-region failover mechanisms. \nEnterprise AI Workload Operations: Ensure the high availability, low latency, and throughput of enterprise AI/GenAI gateways, inference engines, vector databases, and model runtime platforms. \nDirect operational support for modern enterprise CI/CD ecosystems (e.g., Tekton, Harness, GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, Artifactory), driving automated deployment gates, canary releases, and zero-downtime upgrades. \nChampion SRE best practices, setting and enforcing Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and Error Budgets while driving infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and proactive self-healing automation. \nChampion enterprise resilience strategies, including regular chaos engineering experiments, wargaming simulations, fault-injection testing, and multi-region disaster recovery (DR) validations. \nDirect the implementation of comprehensive telemetry and observability frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, ELK, Datadog/Dynatrace) across infrastructure, microservices, and AI inference layers for proactive anomaly detection.\nServe as the senior technical escalation point for critical (P1/MIM) platform incidents; lead blameless post-incident reviews (PIRs) and drive systemic Root Cause Analysis (RCA) remediation to prevent recurring issues.\nQualifications & Experience\nEnterprise Platform & SRE Experience: 10-13+ years of technical leadership in SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Mission-Critical Platform Engineering within enterprise/financial services environments.\nPeople & Team Leadership: 5+ years managing and mentoring distributed, cross-functional, and global technical engineering teams.\nModernization & Executive Stakeholder Management: Proven track record executing large-scale cloud migrations and platform modernization, with strong executive communication and negotiation skills.\n Red Hat OpenShift & Kubernetes Mastery: Deep hands-on and architectural expertise in OpenShift (OCP 4.x), Kubernetes internals, CNI, CSI, Operators, Helm, and cluster security/RBAC.\n Public & Hybrid Cloud Operations (AWS / GCP): Architectural and operational mastery across AWS/GCP, including VPC networking, IAM, EKS/GKE, compute scaling, and hybrid interconnects.\n Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation: Proficient in automated provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.\nEnterprise AI/ML Infrastructure: Practical experience with GenAI platforms, model serving/runtime engines, GPU cluster management, and vector databases.\n Modern CI/CD & Delivery Tooling: Experience operating enterprise developer platforms and pipelines (Tekton, Harness, ArgoCD, GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory).\n Observability & Telemetry Frameworks: Advanced proficiency in end-to-end monitoring, logging, and tracing architectures (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, ELK).\n Software Engineering, Data Systems & Certifications: Strong scripting/coding skills (Python, Go, Java, Bash), operational familiarity with Kafka/SQL/NoSQL data stores, and industry certifications (CKA, OCP, AWS/GCP Pro, SRE).\nEducation\nBachelor’s/University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field required.\nMaster’s degree preferred.\nWhat we can offer you:\nBy joining Citi Solutions Center Poland, you will not only be part of a business casual workplace with a hybrid working model (currently up to 2 days working at home per week), but also (potentially, subject to final offer) receive a competitive base salary and enjoy a whole host of additional benefits which can include:\nEmployer paid Defined Contribution Pension Plan contribution of 6% of employee’s pensionable earnings (PPE Program)\nEmployer paid Private Medical Care Package for employees and Private Medical Care Packages for certain family members available at preferential rates\nEmployer paid Life Insurance Program for employees and Life Insurance for certain family members available at preferential rates\nEmployee Assistance Program financed by Employer\nPaid Parental Leave Program (maternity and paternity leave;
