You will operate with meaningful autonomy, act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders, and play an active role in shaping technical outcomes within a high-impact financial services environment.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and implement enhancements to enterprise application systems using Java Spring Boot and Angular, translating business and technical requirements into robust full stack solutions.\nDevelop and maintain both backend services and frontend interfaces, ensuring consistency, performance, and reliability across the full stack.\nAnalyze existing applications to identify vulnerabilities, security gaps, and areas for improvement, conducting testing and debugging to maintain system integrity.\nCollaborate with users, clients, and cross-functional technology teams to diagnose issues and deliver effective programming solutions.\nApply scripting tools and code analysis techniques to define and implement system enhancements that meet evolving technical requirements.\nSupport and mentor junior analysts, sharing technical knowledge and guiding problem resolution through hands-on coaching.\nEvaluate risk in technical decisions, ensuring development practices align with security standards, regulatory requirements, and Citi's policies.\nRequired Qualifications & Skills\n4+ years of experience in application development within the financial services industry.\nHands-on development experience with Java Spring Boot for backend services and Angular for frontend development.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze complex technical problems, evaluate options, and implement effective, well-reasoned solutions.\nProven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely, both in writing and in conversations with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting requirements in a fast-paced environment.\nBachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.\nWhat We Offer\nAt Citi, you will join a global technology team where your work directly contributes to systems used by clients and institutions across the world.
