Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.\nResponsibilities:\nSupports initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. Testing specialists who work with technology project managers, UAT professionals and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach.\nConducts a variety of moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation and audit assignments; reports issues and makes recommendations for solutions.\nEnsures project standards and procedures exist, are fully clearly documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle; makes recommendations for enhanced documentation.\nMonitors products for conformance to standards; monitors processes for conformance to procedures.\nDocuments findings and performs preliminary root causes analyses to provide recommended improvements.\nEnsures all corrective actions are assigned, documented and completed.\nVerifies traceability in project work products.\nGathers, maintains and creates reports on quality metrics.\nExhibits good understanding of procedures and concepts within own technical area and a basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.\nRequires basic understanding of how own area integrates within IT Quality to achieve objectives.\nMakes evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information; resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents.\nDirectly impacts the business by ensuring the quality of work provided by self and others; impacts own team and closely related work teams.\nProvides informal guidance to new team members.\nPerforms other duties and functions as assigned.\nAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.\nIndependently exercise judgement and decision-making in managing day-to-day responsibilities, including evaluating complex situations, resolving issues, and determining appropriate courses of action. In addition, will provide oversight on execution by reviewing outputs, guiding approach where required, and addressing gaps to ensure delivery meets expected standards. Take ownership of decisions and deliverables within remit, applying analytical thinking and professional expertise to solve problems and ensure effective outcomes. \nSupport execution of business decisions within the function by translating direction into actionable steps and ensuring effective follow-through. Will support effective functioning of the business area by ensuring processes are implemented consistently and outputs meet expected standards. Operate across varied and evolving situations, exercising discretion to respond to changing requirements and priorities, while ensuring reliability, timeliness, and quality in execution within defined scope. \nApplies domain expertise and advanced analytical capability to deliver outputs aligned with established standards and professional benchmarks. Evaluate business requirements by analyzing complex issues, forming well-reasoned views, and recommending practical, implementable solutions. Apply structured thinking, analytical rigor, and creativity in approaching work, particularly in situations where standard methodologies may require refinement. Exercise sound professional judgement in interpreting requirements and determining appropriate courses of action, taking into account the broader business context and potential implications.\nQualifications:\n5+ years Quality Assurance (QA) experience in the Financial Service industry preferred\nExperience in requirement reviews & able to identify, communicate and document discrepancies.\nUnderstanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies\nUnderstanding of Quality Processes\nDemonstrated logical analysis skills, attention to detail and problem solving Proven ability to work to deadlines.\nConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills\nQA Experience in defining, designing & executing test
