You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-quality software solutions while ensuring best-in-class engineering standards, including trunk-based development, test automation, security, and modern ways of working.\nThis role requires good understanding of system design, hands-on coding, and strong problem-solving skills to create resilient, high-performing, and secure applications.\nKey Responsibilities\nSoftware Development & System Design\nDevelop clean, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles and software design best practices.\nEnsure high levels of unit test coverage, test-driven development (TDD), and behavior-driven development (BDD).\nActively contribute to hands-on coding, code reviews, and refactoring to maintain high engineering standards.\nFollow trunk-based development practices to enable continuous integration and rapid delivery.\nEngineering Excellence & Best Practices\nWorking experience of modern engineering ways of working, including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD.\nApply Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality.\nConduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices in readability, performance, and security.\nFollow secure coding practices, performing vulnerability assessments and ensuring compliance with security standards.\nCollaborate effectively in agile environments, embracing DevOps principles and fostering a culture of continuous delivery and improvement.\nSkills and Qualifications\nMust-Have Skills:\nStrong 8-12 years of hands-on experience with Java J2EE and Spring based technology stack.\nMust have Hands-on SQL, MS SQL/Oracle database\nExpertise in system design and microservices architecture.\nGood understanding of Kafka is highly desirable\nExperience with trunk-based development, feature flags, and progressive delivery strategies.\nStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.\nExperience conducting code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and secure coding.\n Familiarity with modern cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nGood-to-Have Skills:\nExperience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.\nKnowledge of performance tuning, observability, and production monitoring.\nFamiliarity with Agile frameworks and modern ways of working in product development.\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience\nThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
