Architecture, Design & Engineering\nDesign, build, test, deploy, and maintain robust applications leveraging Java microservices.\nArchitect modular, extensible, and high-performance backend services capable of processing complex, high-volume financial calculations in real time and batch modes.\nAuthor clean, well-documented, testable, and maintainable code adhering to Citi's engineering standards, enterprise architecture principles, and secure coding practices.\n2. Database Engineering & Performance Optimization\nDesign high-performance relational database schemas, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and views for high-volume financial data processing.\nProfile and optimize backend queries, caching layers, and API response times to ensure low-latency data retrieval and reliable processing of massive datasets.\nGuarantee data integrity, strict transactional consistency (ACID compliance), and comprehensive audit trails across all collateral and financing workflows.\n3. End-to-End Ownership & Agile Delivery\nAssume end-to-end ownership of software deliverables across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)-from technical design and implementation to automated testing, deployment, and post-release support.\nDrive iterative delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies, actively contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, architectural reviews, and sprint demonstrations.\nChampion Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing across unit, integration, and contract testing suites using frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito.\n4. DevOps, CI/CD & Platform Modernization\nIntegrate automated builds, static code analysis (SonarQube), security vulnerability scanning, and automated deployment pipelines into enterprise CI/CD workflows (GitHub, TeamCity/Jenkins, Harness/uDeploy).\nParticipate actively in platform modernization initiatives, including microservice containerization (Docker, Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes) and cloud-ready architectures.\n5.
